He's pretty much the opposite of a Republican in terms of policy/Senate voting record. In fact he was statistically even less likely to vote with the Rpublicans on a bill (while in the Senate) than guys like Ted Kennedy who were well known for adhering to party line.
After 8 years with Bush, everyone seemed to think that we live in a country with only one corrupt party. After 8 months with Obama, it became readily apparent that we live in a country with two corrupt parties.

So every President brings a possibility of change and the ones who the Nobel Committee consider (on some completely arbitrary basis) to have the greatest possibility of change get the prize?
So when does the corruption stop if the prize isn't actually given to someone who fights corruption, but someone who might possibly -- if his boss, aka Wall Street, allows it -- fight corruption?

Dude, the post I quoted said that all presidential candidates are the same. I disagree. To show that they are infact not all the same I said that merely by changing presidents, the new one won the noble prize for peace. This shows that there is a difference in candidates. I was not discussing whether he deserved the award or not.
