I feel like the quality of the TL forum has gone waaay down over the years, while everything else on the site has dramatically improved. Now TL is full of 4chan kids making single picture posts or one-liners instead of actually writing up a decent post. Half the things I read on here make me cringe. It doesn't bother me all that much though, in the end. Because I simply don't read the forum as often as I used to. But know we have new articles more often, Liquipedia, etc. So I don't know, I guess that's the price we have to pay. Also, I miss Sandlot!!! That was a glorious time to be a Starcraft fan. Probably the last time I will ever get to see people like Nazgul or Kaaz play, too. So depressing. And FA!! What happened to you?! You used to be so gosu!! | ||

Some of it is that the site was smaller, and it started off with a lot of really high quality members as it was basically all the good people from bw.com and halpmeh.com. I think there's still a TON of good posts, and a lot of parts of the site are just way, way better now than they were then. There's just a lot more people "passing through". I guess there's also not as many active, high level players posting but since I don't read the strategy forum much anymore, I can't say how that section has been affected. Also annoyed by the inflation in post count. I guess it's partly due to the forum is bigger but everyone and his mother have over 1k posts after a few months and people joining after 2006 are considered forum veterans. | ||

kdog must be talking about some other account that was banned long ago, "food" is definitely not old i used to lurk TL since 2004, those were the "old days" for me( before i even posted anything) i dont know if it was much better, probably more drama than these days if anything content has improved imo | ||
