If that rig is near the end of your budget, then go for it, but all of the technology you're using is on the road to being phased out. This means that it won't be very upgradeable. On the other hand, though, with this recession, companies are putting out newer technology at a slower pace because people simply aren't buying, so that generation of hardware will be around longer. *shrug* It's a gamble, but you should be fine. If you've got more money to spare, switch to a motherboard that supports DDR3 and the Core i7 processor. SLi/Crossfire is pretty much standard on motherboards of both current and last generations (like the one you currently are planning to buy), so that isn't a big deal. | ||
