Woulda been fine if you just said you liked running without making it awkward ;p Oh kids ~_~!
|
I don't get it.
What does this have to do with sc?
|
Just as an exam was starting I would say "Good luck have fun".
|
Gg yO no re
Yeah there are times in my life I questioned what the hell was I thinking? it feels like you lost consciousness and muttered the dumbest response you can think of.
|
at least you didnt say "gee gee"
|
Dude I don't care what anybody says, "gee gee" is in. I say it all of the time to random customers of mine. They all think i'm cool.
|
You are all behind the times...
ZI ZI YO~
OH NO KESPA HERE, GOTTA RUN~
|
Yeah with girls it's always awkward, but my friends are cool with my sc mannerisms. I always say gl hf before tests and stuff, and everyone says gg even though they don't know the context that it is supposed to be used in.
There are many more things that you could have said that would have made the situation more awkward though.
|
Dude, im probably just as stupid as you think you are; but i dont really get what you would have wanted to say. Some cocky "funny" response that makes you some hypocrite?
She said good game too, i dont think sc had anything to do with that lol.

Haha.
"Good game! You're really fast."
"Thanks! I have great macro!"
Jokes aside, your response wasn't that bad. You do seem to have a lot on your schedule though. Congrats on being very multitalented.
I have very little aptitude in sports, but I do bike a lot and I like to spar with friends once in a while. Nothing intense or anything, I'm not good at that. Come to think of it I'm not great at StarCraft either. Life is gg no re.

Haha, I misread this and thought you were playing Starcraft and she came up to you and said that. We can dream, can't we?
|
every time someone tells me they have to go to the bathroom i say "good luck, have fun"

Aaaaand guess what I replied with... + Show Spoiler +Good game! ... uhh yea I like running Pretty stupid response and I couldn't figure out why it felt so awkward to say that until I got back home. Anyway, anyone else... From UC Davis? Play SC actively? Playing for Davis in CSL+? In the cycling club? Thinking about joining the cycling club? I don't have any experience with hardcore biking so I was hoping I could either join with someone or at least get some newbie info/tips/etc. My roommate is thinking about joining atm but he's not sure. :/ You should have screamed "GEEE GEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" like MBCGame commentators haha.

You might... although it sort of implies a level of competition that you might not have in a friendly game but it's pretty normal to say good game to someone on the opposing team in a sporting event.
I mean "Yeah good game--lets do it again sometime." is probably exactly what I would have wanted to say in your position.
When I played soccer in the YMCA as a kid they made us all go down the line and say "good game" to everyone on the other team after every game. So it would be like "goodgamegoodgamegoodgame" over and over as you walk past each other. It's supposed to be a sign of respect although--like in SC--it's more fun to say when you win.
