holy shit this game is SICKLY fun
although it gets REALLY frustrating at times when you try to do a jump 213919414924 times and keep failing

i really await a sequel, although they should make the game sandbox rather than linear, then it would be tons better.

Singleplayer was ok, too many bullets. I really enjoyed the time trials though. Three starred all of them. It was a ton of fun figuring out how to do a course (less fun actually doing it sometimes when failing over and over, but addictive). I haven't opened the app since getting my last 3star though This game really needed a level editor.

Dunno, got bored with it pretty quickly cause i wanted to grind it:/
But it is good as a type of game that you play for like 30-60 mins a day to chill out.

I really recommend to try this game, but i wouldn't spend money on it

the game is a hit or miss for many people, because the formula is the same, and does not change much for the whole game: You. Run.
If you like dodging around and timing your jumps and combining different movements to overcome obstacles, then the fabulous music and the simple yet stylish backdrops and stage designs will captivate you and lure you to keep playing until you've beaten it.
If you think all the jumping is stupid and repetitive and is a chore and a bore, then it will quickly loose it's shiny new gloss and turn into a dull grind.

I myself enjoyed it immensely. Although the story was kind of shit. And yeah i agree on the sandbox thing. I also wish they had better support for a multiplayer environment. Or did a major CTF or online tag game system or something =p.

I played this game on my PS3 because I preferred the use of a controller over a keyboard and mouse in this situation. I gotta say I loved it a lot except when they started putting emphasis on certain FPS segments where you have to fight your way through waves of enemies.

I too am waiting for a sequel to this game.

One of the freshest most intense games Ive played in many years.

Anxiously awaiting the sequel though Im sick of hearing people complain that its not sandbox (not directed at you) It has such strong design I commend the designers for that. Not saying I wouldnt enjoy a more open ended world, Just sick of the whines.

As far as lasting 5 hours, I guess it depends on the person but the time trials and speed runs I find exciting in this game - even though its not something that keeps my intrest in other games. *shrug*

Oh man, i was just considering to make a blog about this game too...
I just got it and it is REALLY fun, did you beat it yet GTR?

One of my of my favorite parts of the game are the simple color schemes and solid colors that really enhance the experience.

Very different game, felt good not to have to murder entire levels of henchmen. The music and the feel of open sky was pretty refreshing. The storyline was kinda meh, but then again you never play FPS for the storyline anyway.

Story was garbage, but oh man, was it fun to play. Surprisingly, I didn't get motion sickness from it.

I loved the design aspects of it, though. The city was so well done...even though it's a linear game, I loved how big and open the place felt. The color scheme, the design, etc...it was all great.

I think a sandbox Mirror's Edge would be great...but I can't imagine how they'd pull that off and still make the freerunning as interesting as it is in the first one.
