At that event he also beat Bomber, MKP, MMA and aLive in a Bo3 (in the finals). Then this GSL he's beaten MMA, Maru, and Taeja (granted as far as MMA and Taeja are concerned, I think that is their weakest match-up, but at the level of play that those guys are at "weakest match-up" doesn't mean bad). That being said I think Mvp is still the favorite just because he has more experience and will be able to deal with pressure better, but at the same time in a match-up like TvP crazy stuff can happen. While skill becomes more and more of a factor the later you go, the early game of TvP can often come down to build order.

Protoss becomes significantly easier to play the later the game goes.

That single matchup completely renewed my excitement in the Protoss race and made me a Squirtle fan to this day. I have hopes that this final will be able to match the innovation and beauty of that great GSTL match. Even with how much respect both of these players are given for their skill, I still consider them to be underrated. Please be the greatest final ever!! (GSTL Feb. 2011 Final, Match 8 is the game I'm talking about by the way)
