Gotta go with Rain on this one. I promised I'd never vote against him again. :-\ GL to both! I wanna see an epic, 5-game semi-finals!! ![]() On October 06 2012 00:18 vijeze wrote: Rain go for it, because I dislike MVP. Mvp has a number for you. Seriously what are you talking about. Do you know what Bonjwa is? Look at Jaedong. He was extremely succesful - suffice to say that he won more titles than half of the Bonjwas - and yet he is not a Bonjwa. Mvp IMHO was quite close to being a SC2 Bonjwa but there were two players who denied him and these players were MMA and Leenock. In the second half of 2011 MMA beat him in GSL finals and later again won a match against him in Bilzzard Cup semifinal. Similarly Leenock beat him en route to Providence Championship and in Semifinal of the last 2011 GSL. But Still Mvp won MLG Anaheim (end of July 2011), GSL August (early September 2011), BlizzCon (October) and WCG (December). Two loses against MMA and two against Leenock.

I dunno, man, I kinda thought that about Taeja and HerO, but they got swept by Rain in Rounds of 16 and 8 respectively. Mvp is smarter than both of them, in my opinion, but the almost calculated approach Rain applies to his play is undeniably powerful. Mvp even said in his winner's interview that he normally doesn't have a set plan for his games; he just goes with his gut and somehow executes near-flawless builds. I'm always one who respects the legendary IM Terran to pull a win out of his hat and then "lol" so hard his monocle nearly falls out post-victory, but wonky, effective strats that no one has ever seen before are going to be the only ways Mvp stands a chance against the rising cyborg demigod that is Rain. 0_0

He's a big game player, and he's about the best guy in the world at prepping for a specific opponent.

Really had to flip a coin on this. MVP has all the intangibles but Rain might be the best player the GSL has ever seen and he's also in form. Really have no idea about this one, or even the score.
