Sure TL makes sexists jokes on occasion, but those are relatively harmless. Would you mind pointing me to some threads where TL users were like "[H]My Bitch won't do the dishes" or "[H]Gf wants to get a job, how to stop this?" I think a better approach to the OP's argument is not that the entire site is participating in the criticized behavior, but that we either abide by it and thus provide a place for it to continue or we don't criticize it enough. | ||

Yes the general attitudes of men is demeaning towards women, but at the same time this forum is highly biased towards males and so the general rhetoric of a thread about a female tends to degrade into slander and sarcasm. A complaint would be valid if there was obvious sexism in a post, but on the whole most posts are sarcastic or do not have sexist intentions. | ||
