It looks like there's an SC2 player named 'Ash' that's gets caught in the TLPD-ize. I think we need separate buttons for SC1 and SC2.

AshKetchum it works, but that appears to be a temporary solution at best.

Oh, hi. I was wondering if you could change AshKetchum back to Ash lol.

He's a Japanese player and his ID is Ash, he doesn't speak English well so he's asking me on his behalf to get it changed back.

Right now naming him Ash breaks some things. Does he have a clan we can append to the back of his tag until the bug is fixed?

Ash.PlayGG (you have to type out the full name for it to tlpd-ize)
this is the best we can do for now, I think

got all the names, ty

tried a few different things to fix Laglovah and none of them worked, going to leave him now to see if we can figure out what went wrong. worst case we'll just make a new entry for him and delete that one.

Thanks a ton Burpies, should be up-to-date. The incorrect TLPDizing of Laglovah and Humble were created by incomplete duplicate player profiles (you can see this b/c when it TLPDized it left the race and database fields blank). These duplicates have been deleted and they now TLPDize correctly.

Tree, we know its messed up, the system is supposed to be automated every time the page is edited and it is buggy. We can't fix it manually until a coder fixes it.

Hey I just wanted to post firstly to say that I love the TLPD ELO rankings for SC2 and check them at least a couple of times every week, it's great to have a rating like that based on tournament performance to see who the best players in the world right now are.

However I was wondering if it wouldn't be better to combine the Korean and International SC2 ratings now that we have so many more top Koreans competing in foreign tournaments like IEM, TSL3, Blizzcon and most likely NASL too. And you also have many foreigners competing in the Asian tournaments like GSL and FXOpen series.

Separating the rankings makes a lot of sense for Broodwar where you would literally have zero crossover outside of WCG, but it seems SC2 is much less segregated and will only continue this trend over time.

I would love to see a combined rating added, at least as an option even if the old Korean and International ratings stayed there.

I think this idea has some merit, the Elo rankings as they are seem pretty skewed because you don't really get as many points for beating a top Korean as you do a top foreigner.
