Uh, Hyuk is on an eight game winning streak and not 4...unless there are minor league games...XD

Why not? It gives KeSPA points, why not ELO/streaks?
Why is WCG Korea 09 counted if its not KeSPA regulated tournament?

I didn't know it actually gives KeSPA points, but the fact that KeSPA gives points for a tournament's games is irrelevant - the nature/quality of the games is what really should matter when counting something towards ELO/streaks.
The way I look at it, it's pretty obvious when watching the Masters games that the players/coaches aren't taking it that seriously. You see the 2nd line players playing over the regulars, and the games are obviously second rate compared to Proleague/Starleagues/GOM/WCG.
Anyways, I'm not really the one that decided that STX Masters shouldn't count, I was just following the precedent of previous seasons. If you want to know why that decision was made in the first place I'd ask a staff member who's been here longer than me.

Well it just sounds weird. I mean WCG korea only top 24 or so could participate but STX Masters all teams (players mainly) could participate (ACE not there).
WCG korea final games (bisu vs stork) should not be counted as those games don't really count (whoever wins doesn't matter) so quality goes down.

Could remove Jaedong's ugly loss vs GGPlay from last OSL then? And July vs Yarnc? Meh, there's not clear distinction, but the majority accept the choices.

Those gives KeSPA points at least
But I don't mind what thing isn't included to ELO calculation. TLPD should inform what leagues don't mean anything for players (elo and so on). Like now OTE, UPC and PMT should not count at all (most likely it don't).

A pretty safe assumption right now for recent games is that if a game was not part of the OSL/MSL/MST/GOM/PL/WCG then it most likely isn't included in ELO (the leagues you mention are not). I do agree that we need something that lets people browsing TLPD know what does and what doesn't count towards ELO. It's on the list of things to work on in TLPD.

Why don't the different versions of Blue Storm have different TLPD pages? The change is minor but it has a huge effect on defending your nat from mutas in TvZ.

Is there a way to not see the offline preliminary stats? Apologies if this was addressed already.

Not definite on how it's going to be done but it's a good idea. TLPD has doubled in the # of games in the last 3 months, and most of those games are prelims/some other form of offline tourney that doesn't count towards ELO, so it's become obvious that some things are going to need to change so that there is an easy way to see which games "count" and which do not. There's other stuff that the coders are busy on right now so I'm not sure when TLPD will be renovated in this respect, but it's definitely on the list of things that need to be done.

I had been thinking of making an IRC bot that would access TLPD/etc last month but this made it a hell of a lot easier. If you want to see a working example of what an API can let you do just go to #teamliquid and type !help (and thank zatic for this while you're at it..)

gosh darn it that bot is slick!
I guess this should go to a bot suggestion thread but there's none. It ties in here: If the user database were api accessible, then the bot could perform user checks in channel and enforce a tie between the chat users and TL member status.

Not sure if this is intentional or not, but the TLPD doesn't really seem to be counting the new minor league and other games on the overall records. I came across this while looking at SoO's page and he's only 0-3 yet he has played many, many more games.
