Trying to find something that I think can improve TLPD so this doublepost isn't so pointless

OK how about this - I was thinking the other day about how nice it would be to have graphs of players ELO/matchup ELOs displayed over time. I looked through this thread and found it's been mentioned already. Is this still in the works?

oh, so he's still there... I was asking why he wasn't there anymore when typing "MinGu" to TLPD search, I thought he was also known by that name (without brackets), but there isn't even in his aka field, so maybe I was wrong.

When I look under Bisu/Savior's accomplishments, it says they competed (BIsu winning) in an MSL in 2006. I think it's supposed to be 2007. Not sure what's wrong with that.

It goes by start date, 2006 MSL S3 ended (badly) in March 2007.

I'd like to request the ability to expand the search capability on the players by allowing the user to select more than one "Versus" "During" "On" or "Between".

For instance:

I go to - http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/players/125_Bisu/games

I'd like to be able to search for all his games played against Zerg between October 4th, 2008 and now during the Shinhan Proleague 08-09 and Winner's League.

Another way for this to function would be to allow the user to cut search results. So I could search all games from Oct 4, 08 - Now and cut the MSL, OSL, GomTV etc out of the results leaving me with only the statistics I want displayed.

Maybe a "Team Leagues" and "Individual Leagues" option would be the best solution here FZero. That division already exists in TLPD, and you could go to Bisu's TLPD, drop down the "During" tab, and select "Team Leagues." Then just add in the desired time frame and you have the game list you were looking for.

I think that would be very simple, functional, and interesting to see how well a player plays in Team Leagues in comparison to Individual Leagues, or vice-versa.

You can't select "Team Leagues" in that drop down, though.

Also, on the "GAMES" tab -- Would it be possible to narrow this by date? Same as on a player's tab, it would be nice to be able to just search for all the games played in the month of October or whatever.

That's, what I'm saying Fzero, it would be more practical to create a "Team Leagues/Individual Leagues" section than to make it be able to pick any two leagues. Maybe "Overall MSL" and "Overall OSL" tabs could also be made.

I do wish the games tab would have more selection options though. It would be nice to be able to narrow them down by matchup/dates.

I changed the name of the Lecaf team to Hwaseung or whatever, but is there a way to make TLPD recognize both names, as a lot of older threads were TLPD-ized for Lecaf OZ.

This was a great run-on sentence.

not sure when it happened, but it looks like the ELO sort bars work better now (start with top down instead of bottum up), so thanks.

I have a request though. free only TLPD-izes when its capitalizes as Free. Any chance you could do the same thing for (P)

Old tlpdizing's will still work. New ones only will with "Hwaseung OZ" or "Lecaf" (which still is the short name, probably should be changed too though).

We could make it so that team's old names are recognized, but right now they won't.
