 How is tag consistency going to be addressed? Some of them have their Nal_ tags, some don't. Some have their [gm] tags, some don't. etcaetera. Also: is the most RECENT name, the most WELL KNOWN name, or the name they became FAMOUS with going to be the one used? That is, is Han Dong Wook "AdamaS", "CaSy", or "iOi[aLivE]"? I ask because of the less established pros changing names every other game. While we've pretty much settled the CaSy issue with normative usage, we should decide a uniform way to name the new people. free[gm] = pretty[gm] sea.practice = [nsP]Luxury bifrost = justin = crocus = casy[name] = themarine[name] etc.. | ||

I don't think that nickname thing is that huge of a deal to be honest, but the policy we're using for player nicknames is the following: 1. If the player is famous: clanless/most famous name as main nickname, all the known "clan names" as akas. 2. If the player is pretty new: clanless/most recent name as main nickname, all the known "clan names" as akas. The reason for having all the clan names as akas is so that people can search for them using the search engine, and it also means these names will be TLPD-ized as well. As a general rule, all the players' main nicknames should be clanless except if there is any kind of confusion (Yellow[Arnc] etc). However, lots of players still need to be updated in this regard. | ||

Wins treak is 13, not 10, i figured this is where i post stuff like that. great database, thanks again PoP and everyone else who worked on it, it's so useful whenever i wanna back up something i say on a player, or if i say something dumb and uneducated. | ||

It now says 12 though, not 13, because one of those games was played during a special event (Shinhan Proleague All-Star), and these events don't count in records/streaks. | ||

for example, october is listed as protoss on v-gundam's list, zeus is listed as terran on giyom's list, and [b-blade]leader is listed as protoss on some other list i forgot about they only show up in a certain spot every time and the link still takes you to the correct player page | ||
