While the post was probably out of line, it has been somewhat common place to let such criticism of casters slide in the LR threads, with the harshest penalty ususally being a warning. Also, while the idea of the post was unacceptable, the wording wasn't terribly harsh. The point of all this being that it seems a bit harsh to go so harshly off of this post when so many similar ones are let slide.
The reason that Sated should be given another chance is that he does contribute meaningfully to the site:
1: Strategy - Sated plays Starcraft 2 at a high level and as such has a decent understanding of the mechanics and strategy required to play at that level. As evinced by his activity in the HotS Protoss Help Me Thread, as well as around the site in general, he has been a resource for strategy information. Given that people are always looking to TL for strategy help, it would be nice to keep around people that are able to provide that.
2: Liquipedia - Sated is an editor on liquipedia and has a long history of meaningful edits. In particular he has been helping out in 2 areas that are currently in need of more manpower, Team Pages, particularly for smaller teams, and Strategy. Having been a member of a smaller team himself, Sated has valuable knowledge of the more low key scene and has been willing to document a scene in which not many other contributors are active. He has also worked to keep protoss strategy pages up to date even during the transition to Heart of the Swarm. People look to liquipedia as a valuable strategy resource and Sated helps keep it up to date for that purpose.
3: Live Report Threads - As a regular participant of LR threads Sated helps create a fun and interesting environment for people to discuss games as they happen. He could generally be relied on to show in the threads of even relatively low key tournaments, and enjoyed some lighthearted ribbing (who could forget the dead jaedong sheep). The fun back and forth of LR threads is one of the best parts of TL and I think that his contribution here should be valued just like the others.
In short, does Sated perhaps have a history? Yes. Does he perhaps engage in occasional low content or out of line posting? Yes. However at the end of the day I think the extent of his contributions and his general good demeanor on the site warrant another chance.
