Seeing that banner made me realize that I still had AdBlock enabled on TL, so I turned it off. I thought it was a pretty nice way to go about it too, instead of the banners like "You're stealing from us! Stop blocking ads! Seriously!" that other sites go to.

I didn't even notice there was an ad there before this thread, lol. As long as the ads aren't terribly distracting I don't really care for them.

I really do hate those "take up 80% of the site"-ads that many sites have so I always use adblock. Can't stand commercials or ads, but when I saw that cute horse with the text I immediately made an exception for TL :- ) Just to give that small amount of support.

As soon as I saw the horse banner, I disabled my adblock for TL.net, but I'm still seeing it occasionally (and no ads in general, if the horse banner is not there).

Are there some additional ad-servers that need to be unblocked? TL.net is whitelisted in adblock and noscript.

I turned off my adblock, there is no need to make every issue about these things so technical, and I love TL so I can deal with seeing one nokia ad on the top of the page.

I've got mine set to 'disable on teamliquid' but I can still see the horse banner. Any tips or should I just reinstall or something? ^^ On firefox 3.6.13

I agree Zlasher that is my issue as well...I disabled most of the main pages I visit here on TL but have not done it fully because of the stream ads.

Right now my temp solution can be to unblock it on specific pages i visit, but nevertheless i can't unblock it on all future threads. So I can do each sections main page that i frequent, and the ront page and liquibet etc.
