I've often used the all option and Ctrl-f (find) to find important stuff. Saved me a lot of trouble. It'd be cool if there was a button to click on and do that without the performance issues of the all link.

edit: actually the page still refreshes if you are on page 1 of any thread and you click on the # link. if you are on page 2 and up there's no refreshing

I don't know if it'd be possible but one feature I'd love to have is something so you can view 10 pages at a time or something in larger threads. Since the all button is gone now.
Maybe it let's the user input 2 page numbers a maximum of 10 pages apart and then shows that block?

First let me state I'm a huge fan of Teamliquid.net and all the wonderful work it does for the community. If you want feedback then it would be great if all or view x pages could be implemented as it's awesome for scanning large posts for good posts.
Personally, I looked at the micro post (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=121769¤tpage=last) in the SC2 forum and I didn't want to step through 39 pages (and counting) of replies. I simply wanted to scan the article for the MIR posts as, to me, they have much higher value than a normal user's post and I simply don't want to read 580 normal user posts page by page.
In either case, I love TL.net and thank you for all the hard work!

Well when a thread has 20+ pages I'm not too fond of constantly having to hit next, I'd rather just have, fewer, longer pages. Especially since I tend to skim through posts and not read every word when I encounter a long thread for the first time.

I despise it, if forums give me the option to view more posts per page I always set it to the maximum. I always hit 'all' on threads except for that images one. Having the option to view more than the 20(?) posts per page would be good enough if 'all' takes too much resources.

Eek sad to hear "all" is disabled .
Give the option to true forum veterans with more than 4448 posts obviously.

id like to join the chorus of those who say 'pls give us ¤tpage=All' back, because i really like to view pages offline, and having to cache every single page of a thread manually is a bit of a pain in the ass imho... -_-

Disappointing that view "All" is not available to all thread. I guess that means I will be viewing less live tourney threads . I wouldn't mind less graphics or whatever just to view all in 1 long page for smaller thread. I find a lot of posts in a thread to be of insignificance (random babble).

This please.

As a replacement for the functionality of the 'view all' option, a thread specific search box would be great.
Other options for dealing with the performance of viewing all messages in a thread, is dynamically loading content. Somewhat like slashdot's approach. Though this would take quite some time to implement, I imagine.
A third idea, for live report threads, it would be great if the OP maintainer would include post links to various points in the thread for each match played. A community provided solution.

Opening 57 tabs to go through the SKT T1 vs KT Rolster thread was a bit of a hassle.
I still hold the opinion that an option for 100 posts per page would be tremendously helpful, since that would cut the pages needed to traverse by 5 times. Plus since "all" is available on threads with 20 or fewer pages (400 or fewer posts) wouldn't 100 posts be fine?

The view all option was great for Mafia games. Any way to allow it for that part of the forum?

The "All" limit has been increased to 50 pages.
