Pretty sure Gumi had 2/2 by the end of the game

He also had +1 mech weapons, but that's noting to maru's 2-2.

Good god, not only did Maru win a best of five series in 30 minutes, two of the games were macro games, and one of them was a game where he went opened Mech and turtled up to four bases.
If Maru wins this GSL, I think he'll have a pretty good claim to not only be the best SC2 player in the world, but to be the best SC2 player of all time.

You can tell Maru was really off with that cold today because he didn't have the macro to include +3/3 BCs with that push.

Ah I missed the first series. Doesn't sound like I missed much though.

I saw him beat Strike at the Asian games. It couldn't have been too different.

Oh man can you imagine what'd we get to watch if we had prime Tajea vs Mvp vs Innovation vs Maru vs MMA vs Polt? Can't wait till Taeja comes back, if he does.

It was a stomp, but still entertaining, IMO. Short enough to be worth it.

The good thing about Gumi losing is that it leaves some drama for the super tournament. Now a lot of players have a legitimate chance to play their way to Blizzcon.

I'm not gonna spoil it but just watch it. You'll be shocked in a confusing way.

Difference is that gumiho is a GSL champ

Zest and Stats should both try to throw so they don't have to embarrass themselves in a series vs Maru.

Like, I remember back in early SC2 where every time someone one two games in a row, everyone would go IS HE THE NEXT ZERG BANJO?!, and I think it's worth seriously considering at this point. No one's ever been this dominant for this long.

Correct prediction for the first one. Let's see if I can hit the 100% today Hopefully the 1 game that was missed from Maru vs GuMiho is made up in this series.
Maru 3-0 GuMiho so Stats 3-2 Zest

Best timeline:
Maru wins 3rd GSL in a row Serral wins 4th WCS in a row
Maru vs. Serral Blizzcon finals
