Q: This was your first time playing in Code A. Thoughts?
A: It was my Code A debut match so I was anxious. In my time as a gamer, I've never had an experience like today. I couldn't sleep until 9 in the morning, and I woke up at 12. I had a nightmare and wasn't able to practice much, so in many ways it was a bad situation. I came to the stadium just thinking of preparations, but it seems like I received help from the heavens.
Q: In the first game, your hellions did a lot of damage.
A: I didn't do more damage than I expected. Originally, I was able to do more but I came up short. But still, since my opponent did an all-in attack, I was able to win. It was a map where Protoss can win easily, but it was a relief that things turned out how they did.
Q: In the second game, your all-in went well.
A: Today JYP came to the studio with me. He said not to do it if we were cross positions. But it seemed like Creator was trying for a macro game, so I changed my thoughts in the moment.
Q: You rose from 16-Kyu Jong (T/N Clide made it exactly to the Round of 16 Code S like 4 times in a row) to 8-Kyu Jong, but then unexpectedly got fourth in your Round of 32 group.
A: My Code S games seemed like winnable situations. They were good situations for me but it seems like I rushed things. When I lost, I thought of how things would go. I should have calmly finished the group but while playing I felt pressed and got worried. I thought of things like what I should do if I got knocked out, and I starting feeling oppressed and messed up the games.
Q: There is still a chance to remain in Code S.
A: It's a situation where two Protosses are waiting for me above. Parting and Killer are my opponents. It's like this for all Terrans, but it's become hard to beat Protoss. The maps also contribute to that, and since the patch came it's a difficult situation. But still, Terrans are being undervalued. I watched this MLG, and MVP was knocked out and Terran's result wasn't good. Because there are still a lot of people who dislike Terrans there's not much awareness of it, but the reality is that Terran is very difficult. I think now Terrans are in a time they have to surmount. I will have to overcome Protoss with the intention to advance.
Q: You could become a victim of the format changes.
A: I had to strengthen my attitude, but I had some shortages psychologically. I think in the future I will have to work on my psychological shortcomings a lot.
Q: Anything you want to say finally?
A: I had bad circumstances so I only practiced a little. I really thank our team's JYP and oGs_Inca.

Q: Thoughts on achieving a win?
A: Recently, I was on a 7-game losing streak in official games, but that losing streak has ended so I'm happy. I kept losing so I tried to calculate how much I had lost (laughs).
Q: This is your first victory after your team transfer.
A: It's a good start on this new team, so I'm happy.
Q: When and how did you join Team Liquid?
A: I joined one week ago. In oGs a connection was made so I joined Team Liquid. Because I can't do the practice house lifestyle, along with Hero my activity is somewhat different.
Q: Through your activity in oGs, has Team Liquid become a very familiar team to you?
A: It's very familiar. There really aren't any new feelings, and I feel comfortable. Isn't it basically like it was my team? I think things will go well if I just practice diligently like before.
Q: You were in Code S but fell to Code A. What was the reason for this?
A: I couldn't play those games like I usually do. Strangely in broadcast games, things don't turn out well for me. I believe that if I can adapt again, I will be able to advance again to Code S.
Q: This season the tournament format has changed. More methods were added to get into Code S.
A: The format changed right after I fell to Code A so I'm glad. I think that I can definitely rise to Code S.
Q: Your opponent today is a teamless player. Was it difficult not having information on him?
A: He's a player I meet a lot on ladder. Because I knew his style, I prepared and didn't have any difficulties.
Q: Both games today were dominant wins. Do you feel satisfied with your performance?
A: I do feel satisfied. My next opponent is Marineking, but I think that I will be able to be as confident about those games as today.
Q: Do you feel basically confident against Terran?
A: I did, but lately I've been losing a lot so it has withered. Terran players are much better than before. Recently my performance against Terran has again risen. I think that it has risen to the level of top class.
Q: Anything else you want to say?
A: I am always thankful to Team Liquid's partner, oGs. I thank Liquid for readily accepting me. I will aim to have good activity and be diligent in the team lifestyle. I am thankful to oGs_TheSTC and oGs_Top as well as our team's Jinro for their help in practice.

Q: After a long time you've won in GSL. How do you feel?
A: It's been a really long time since I won. I'm extremely glad. I think lately I've been on a downward trend so fans have been forgetting me, but since I got to do this interview, I'm happy.
Q: Today your performance seemed good, what are your thoughts?
A: My opponent played how I thought he would. Owing to that, my performance was good. The map for the first game was easy for defense, so I was confident I could win. I practiced a lot with Golden, and I didn't lose to him even once. Oh, I lost one game to a 6 pool.
Q: The second game on Daybreak was comparatively an easy win.
A: When I scouted, my first probe saw a lot. My opponent was induced to attack and I stopped that well. Since my opponent played as I expected, I was able to play easily.
Q: You played Code A games after a long time. Thoughts?
A: I feel very similar. Even though it's called Code A, it's definitely not easy. Rather, there was an intense burden. Code B has a big difference between Code A and S, but I don't think there is much difference between Code A and Code S.
Q: While you've been out of GSL, the league format has changed.
A: [Something I don't understand here “철밥통”] was intense, so there were some bad things. To be honest, I liked the previous format when I was in Code S. But now, since I'm in Code A I think the changes are good. I will seize this chance.
Q: Your next opponent is Losira. Again PvZ.
A: I think first I will have to see how the maps are. I just hope I don't get anxious. Since it's been so long since I have played in broadcast games, I got worried. I think if I don't get anxious, I will be able to win.
Q: Due to the recent patch, has Protoss play become more comfortable?
A: There are no big changes to PvZ. But PvT is better than before. It's especially like that on GSL maps. But still, ladder maps seem good for Terran.
Q: If you beat Losira, a Slayers teamkill will be scheduled.
A: First, it's important just to advance. Even if players on our team have to face each other, if it's in the Code A third round, it won't be bad. But first, since Losira is a good player, my assignment now is the second round.
Q: Anything else you want to say?
A: Some time ago our team had a shameful event. I feel sorry as one of the players on the team. I hope that the players who went to play in America can have a good return, and Gayeon is starting the filming of a drama, so I hope she will take care to avoid a cold and do well. Also, I thank Golden for helping a lot in practice. In order for me to regain my confidence he sacrificed himself, so I'm thankful.

Sorry I haven't translated much for a while, for some reason I couldn't access thisisgame from my school's network. Anyway if anyone wants anything translated like more of today's players or the WCG winners or anything like that I'll be happy to
