Q: What are your thoughts for progressing into the finals two times in a row? JangBi: I'm really sorry that I wasn't able to win last time... But this time, my desire to win is even stronger ... I made it into the finals again ... I will prepare diligently for this opportunity.
Q: After you won, you didn't seem very happy. JangBi: From the Ro16 to now, it should have been happy occasions, but I'm not satisfied. But after winning the finals, I'll be sure to celebrate.
Q: After defeating teammate Cuteangel, this time you defeated Stork to enter the finals. JangBi: It may seem like I'm a person who is good at performing "Team Kills", but I really dislike these types of confrontations. Winning makes you feel sorry, and losing makes you feel sad.
Q: How did you prepare? JangBi: Because we sat really close to each other before, Stork-hyung remained in his seat while I switched to a different seat. Usually we would chitchat and converse a lot, but because of the match, we haven't talked to each other for a few days. Now that the match is over, I hope we can go back to the way things were.
Q: You seemed very confident in the matches JangBi: I'm confident in matchups versus all races. I feel that your condition affects your performance a lot. For this matchup, I practiced crazily until 1am. But as I was about to go to bed, I saw Stork-yung still practicing. Then I decided to go back to practice also. Perhaps it's because we're on the same team, I practiced even more.
Q: How were the matches? JangBi On Destination, I played according to my prepared plan. But in the first match, I didn't know whether my opponent would use DT [Note: note sure I translated this correctly, I haven't watched the match yet]. Unlike normal, I moved out quickly. Usually I play safe, but this time I decided to gamble. I wanted my opponent to be frustrated with the variety of my strategies, that's why I did it.
Q: You'll meet Luxury in the final. JangBi: Even though I feel a bit weak in my versus Z, I'll use this opportunity to develop my versus Z skills
Q: A few words for Stork. JangBi: Really apologize. I'll invite you out for a good meal, until you stop being mad at me. I'll serve you 'till the end, keke (laughs).
Q: Any last words? JangBi: After learning of the maps in my match with Luxury, I feel it will be tough. But I will win against my opponent on Zerg favored maps, and secure the championship.

wow. Jangbi is a lot better than I thought 0_o

Jangbi is the unsung hero of the Protoss. His skill just gets shadowed by Bisu's accomplishments.

It must be a stressful endeavor to play a friend and teammate in such a big match. Congrats to Jangbi, sad to see you go Stork.

Like Stork, Jangbi will prove that if you make it to the finals enough times, eventually you will win something.
Note that just because Jangbi has two silvers, it doesn't mean he can't secure a gold --- losing twice to Bisu doesn't mean you're incapable of winning.
I don't know who to root for -.-

I think Luxury and Jangbi both deserve gold at this point. Jangbi's been getting overshadowed by Bisu in all his Finals and Luxury just seems like a good enough player at this point to get a gold. Hard to choose who the root for.

I think beating Jangbi is possible for Stork. He played badly in the series with horrible mistakes probably due to Jangbi being more fresh. Stork's play(micro) had dropped alot from 2007-2008 and that made bisu and others look good.

All I can see is how the fact that Stork got eliminated by JD in OSL inlfuenced Stork so much that he ended up losing 3-0 to Jangbi. Not that Jangbi is a bad player, not at all, I think Jangbi's amazing, but not as much as 3-0'ing Stork. Some progamers just get burnt out these days which is very understandable.

Feel kind of bad for him then. He must hang out with extremely wide-skulled and bulldog looking women. JangBi is the furthest thing from feminine in my opinion. Lomo or NaDa on the other hand... Personally, I think Oz is the girliest team out there. Lomo and BackHo always prancing around in drag... only JD injects them with a strong dose of manliness, especially now that ForGG is gone.

awesome thanks for translating interview.
lux vs jangbi shold be awesome finals.

As always, interesting to see how deep these games really mean in the end. There's just no middle ground, what can you say after you eliminate a friend & teammate from a SL? vOv
Thanks for the translation!
