Sure, I could avoid scrolling through the list, but you have to select games to join them. They could just as easily title the game "1v1 Byzantium TvZ come," or something else that I would want to join and it would crash when I highlight it.

If you don't wish to contribute to the thread, you don't have to post. Have you ever noticed how many people make those "join and I'll ban you" games, games that crash when you start, or purposely host games and go afk? At the very least, I'm sure this exploit doesn't require the hacker's presence to work. He could easily host it (however it's done), go afk, and get the pleasure of knowing he's crashing hundreds of people's games. It's also possible it can be hosted through a bot, so he doesn't even need a key or to log on to do it. Perhaps he can make multiple instances too. Obviously it's not a serious problem when one game on the list whose title you know beforehand crashes you. It's quite another thing when the exploit is made public and half the games on the list crash you, all of whose titles are indistinguishable from games you want to join. I'm not asking for someone to fix it, or to contact blizzard for me. I already posted in their forums, as you saw, and I'll email them if they don't reply. I'm asking if this is a known exploit, or for more information on it, to make sure I'm not the only one experiencing it (e.g. it requires you to have certain hardware to crash you). That's all. I didn't make you read the thread, and I definitely didn't make you reply. Please only reply if you have information on it, or wish to make a serious comment on the matter, whether you think it is a problem or not. EDIT: The game is no longer on the list for me on USEast. Perhaps it was an unintended glitch, or perhaps it was a hacker testing a new exploit. The game title suggests the latter, which is why I made the thread.

Anyway, most likely it was some other cause...unless it happened to you more than once with the same game. I really doubt the source code of Starcraft shows some action related to the "mouseOver event" of a BNET game on the list...it really doesn't need to gather information about the game if you don't click on it...

it's annoying, but can't really do anything right now except not click on the game. i'm guessing maybe it shows up an unknown character or icon in the game file info (like how certain maps have a stamp, ie blizz maps... just my guess)
