I don't usually like flash games, but my buddy posted this url (Link is at the bottom of my post) on my vent server today. And me, dying of boredom, ended up playing it and realizing it was pretty epic.
Basically, you control a plague of sorts, and your goal is to kill off the entire population of the earth; sounds easy, but it gets more complicated. You choose between a Virus, a Bacteria, or a Parasite (Each with different ups and downs), and you are given a starting location on the world map. From this point on, you have to evolve yourself by using evolution points to choose your symptoms, resistances, and transmissions. Depending on what starting location you're given, you have to choose how you evolve wisely. When you play you'll see what I mean.
You lose if the human race cures your virus, or if your infection just simply cannot spread any further.
I haven't been able to kill off the entire population yet, came pretty close a couple of times though.

Hmmm I can't seem to figure it out. My strategy is to keep as low a profile as possible while increasing resistance and transmission, then when it's spread make it higher profile and lethal. But there's always like 5 countries that never get infected no matter what. Like south africa this game, LOL. Then I run out of points because killing infected people gives none apparently.

jeez I cant even kill one person. Basically every freakin person is infected yet noone has died.

You've got to buy lethal symptoms. Like encephalitis, hemorrhaging, etc.

Heh, if an infectious agent is too efficient at killing its host it will never survive and propagate.
