story short, it didn't turn out as nice as I had hoped and it slowly diminished until it wasn't really used. He's
recently rebuilt it from scratch and it's 100x better than before, I highly suggest you check it out, but most of all:
Use it and provide feedback!
Why use it? It's honestly the best - free - tournament manager I've seen available for use on the web.
BinaryBeast > WGTour
WGTour
Hosting tournaments on WGTour is a pain, I've been there, done that, and it sucks.
1. Tournament admins always run into the problem in which no more than the set number of players can register,
but when game time comes, some people don't show and your stuck short-handed.
2. Admins have very little control after the tournament actually begins. Making replacements for the douchecakes
who didn't show is troublesome since simply renaming a player is impossible.
3. WGTour isn't dedicated to tournaments so finding the right tournament to register for requires the admin to
provide a link, and you still have to mess with a few pages before getting to your tournament.
4. What's it matter since I don't think you can even use WGT anymore?
BattleReports
BattleReports.com is an alternative for WGTour haters, but sadly is still lacking.
1. The admin does EVERYTHING. He registers all the players himself (This alone makes me not want to use it)
Reports all the wins himself (Troublesome when you want to observe nice matches) And a slew of other gayness.
2. Limited options. If I remember correctly, BattleReports doesn't offer double elimination tournaments.
3. No replays (Actually I'm not even sure if you can upload tournament replays to WGT)
4. BattleReports is an outdated website anyway.
The BinaryBeast.com Alternative
Hassle free. Begin browsing tournaments right away - Or host your own! The homepage has the essentials. No links to the tournament section; you're already there.

More than the allowed players can register for the tournament. To weed out the no-shows, use the confirmation phase shortly before your tournament begins.

Do keep in mind that this is still under construction. There are a few bugs, nothing major, it won't stop you from using this to host your own tournaments. You can see what he plans on updating in the news column "Work Que."
The tournament I used for the screen shot was fake, if you want to check out a real one... click here
Please check it out and provide feedback!!!
