I don't really think that I should be giving anyone advice about commentaries etc because i'm tyring to learn and improve also. But the one thing I would say is that you sound bored. Not boring, but as if you are bored while commentating. Even in the exciting bits when there is action and micro there is barely an increase in your tempo. If the commentator sounds bored how can people enjoy watching? If you are trying to give play by play as well as analysis you do need to be a bit more exciting. One of the things that helps is leaving the original sound in the bground. My philosophy on commentating is simple. Most people watch starcraft for entertainment, not education. They enjoy watching hteir fav players and love an exciting game. With that in mind consider the following. When someone watches your commentary they are going to ask themselves a single question. "Does this commentary make the game MORE or LESS fun for me to watch?" It's not an exact mathematical equation, but subconsciously ppl will come to one of the above two conclusions. So think of your comentaries in that context, and try to make sure that they ADD something to the watching of the game. best of luck and keep at it! | ||

imo there's some stuff I don't agree with, like the pylon was cancelled for the money and also so the dragoons could go up and pick off some SCVs, but the vulture with mines was already laying some mines there. But most of the stuff I agree with. It's good, other than the enthusiasm part. | ||
