I didn't play in Chrono Trigger though, I would just pay attention to whatever role PM we dish out. If you have a question about your role after you get it, just hit us up in PM land/Steam.

edit - Actually in general - if there are ANY roles that are not clear to you (the PYP or the Mysterious Challenger) this is the time to address those things before draft.

Atlas V: ve vill go to Mars, ja? Ve vill make new colony on Mars! Launches Werner von Braun and 2 persons of choice into space. This will open a QT for these 3 people. Because they are in space, their votes take a while to arrive, so they only have time to send in 1 (you and the players you send to mars may not vote switch). The Next night the ship arrives on mars. Whoops, Mars is boring and there is only space for 2 people to return to Earth. Closed voting system at night for who returns to Earth. Other 1 dies like Cohaagen in Total Recall. While in route and on mars, the players may not be targeted (they can still be lynched). You yourself cannot use your abilities while in route and on mars, because you need to fly the spaceship. There will be an announcement about the players launched and that they cannot be targeted.

I'd recommend in general newer players when you enter themed games, mafiascum wiki can be your friend on the basics.

(2) Arbitrary vote manipulation. They are not attributed to specific players. It shouldn't affect remaining players unless the conditions specifically say "the lynch is decided between you and the target" - "or duel lynch mechanics" - which is the exact same thing.

Mirror Man! (Catastrophe Mafia)
Before the end of Day 1, you must select a player. You will use your mirror powers to redirect all abilities that target that player to yourself.However, you are no mere mirror boy, you are Mirror Man! In addition to this redirect, you will also invert all abilities redirected to you. These abilities will do the opposite of their normal ability. Some abilities do not have opposites. If your target dies at any point in the game, you will be asked to pick a new one. Your selection will take effect the following phase. When you make your first selection, your target will be told: “A Mysterious Challenger approaches! You have been selected to choose his powers. Each ability specifies the condition when you can use it: V1 - "this cycle", or once that day/night cycle; V2, at night; V3, specific time during the day; Titan 2, specific time of day and not day 1; Atlas, send the request in at night and upon the daypost you get your QT with the people you requested.

In general, we tried our best to be as specific as possible with the how and the when of these roles, unlike most normal, there is a lot of stuff that can get used during the day or is expendable for an entire day and night cycle. There are restrictions on some abilities and do bear in mind for balance purposes some of this is possible so that both factions can use that, that is a key thing in PYP.

If the Mysterious Challenger is picked voluntarily, the selector can designate ½ of the options that he does not want, and the role he gets will be randomized between the remaining roles. Roles that have already been selected from the list will be removed from the list. If for some reason all of the roles get removed from the list, all roles will be added back to the list.
