actually im not sure about the trojan anymore, it says so on wikipedia but i didnt find those programs mentioned nor did i find any spyware using ad-aware or anything, theres not even a discussion on wikipedia as is usual, seems like someone just wrote that and noone reviewed it... dunno

Question: will the program work if I use a firewall to specially block the connection to that site only?

Apparently they removed the supposed spyware from tvants and apologized to its users. At least that's what they say on their forums.
i'll do some checks on my own system. so far nothing particularly dangerous except cookies...but i've uninstalled tvants until more definite evidence can be found.

Well I will wait until there is a final word on whether this shit is safe or not(I just formatted a month ago, dont wanna go through it again so soon ;; ).. But I loved the playsc stream from back in the day and its always so enjoyable to easily watch things live :D
