I actually don't think we should ban champs like Talon.
Yes they might be nice for mafia early on in the game by denying early checks...
But really... if you're playing a scum agenda... you're going to get busted for it.
The same way a Godfather gets busted for it.

It's 100% the same principle.

Yes. But think of a un-themed game. You are not notified that a God father, Roleblocker, etc. is in the game... However you come to realize the fact before all to long usually ye?

Being delayed two phases for flip results is sooooo useful to the mafia.
Yet it's completely useless to town.

I agree with the point about graves. Being able to have a townie return a red check is really bad for the town.
This ability would make fake cases against townies be a lot stronger granted people believed a fake cop claim.

We should strongly consider banning him.

Oh also, Jay I'm not sure what you are trying to say with the pick order statement.
I get that town would want townies first scum last... But short of knowing their #'s and picking them placing both of you at the back of the queue... I'm not sure how you'd hope to accomplish this.
Maby you can fill me in on your thoughts if I've misread the OP..

Also to note, even if there is a way to accomplish this we probably shouldn't spread numbers around (especially second #'s) until way late in the phase to ensure that the scum don't just sacrifice to place the stronger townies at the back of the Q with themselves.

Well my point is that it's less than 3 hours into the draft/ban phase. Rean asked if he should roleplay his character. Mods said yes. He's roleplaying Doublelift. Does that make him town? Only if you buy it. But at 3 hours in... we have 45 hours UNTIL day 1.... why not just assume he's not bsing you to get convo started? Sure, I'll agree with you in saying that Rean's roleplaying certainly does not make him town.. But at the same time it doesn't make him scum. And I don't see your arguement at all about how it makes Jay scum for rolling with it.
