Sigh at least with Bisu retired there won't be any stress placed on whether he qualifies or not

Rain died to the prodigy known as Maru. Hero was ignominiously taken out of America by a failed cannon rush. And though Duckdeok and Naniwa took Europe, they were both proven to be stepping stones for those at the season finals. The Protoss no longer had a champion. All of their champions had died. Even age old legends finally turned in their badge, players like Bisu and Jangbi could no longer go on. A midst this disaster, only one player stood up.
It would not be the cash eating zombie, MC that would once more take on the burden of the entire Protoss race. It would not be who was formerly known as the Soul Train either. No, it would be a completely unknown player from the back of the B-team Bench of CJ entus who would rise and take the torch for the protoss race.
Game after game, Sora would dominate. Killing JKS in the first round, Fantasy in the 2nd, the evil villian Shine in the 3rd and even taking out Bomber in the 4th. This run could not be ignored and only one question could be asked, "WHO IS SORA?"
And what a question it was. Not even his family knew what he was up to until he had already made the quarterfinals of WCG. And once more we asked, "WHO IS SORA?" We watched in disbelief as he continued his streak killing Curious, killing Gumiho, killing Soulkey to meet the Train in the finals. He had gone 14-0. He went from the back of the bench to the ace of his team, and we asked in disbelief, "WHO IS SORA?" For we could not believe a challenger for the throne of Protoss could appear with neither fanfare nor warning. And though the Train formerly known as Parting would end his run, it came to be that we finally knew who Sora was. He is the answer to Life, the answer to Maru, the answer to Creator. He is the boy king that will take his race upon his back. He is the next generation and his time is now.
WHO IS SORA? He is Aiur. And he is coming.
tl'dr:
Sora will probably get killed by Labyrinth 2-0 in the final set to qualify for Code A.

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/User:DiMano This page has most of the players on pro-teams. Those without a WCS icon will most likely be participating.

Oh shit, BarbiePrime is trying to compete! Hopefully Khaldor covers the matches.

Well at least there's a thread for this one. Shame the same couldn't be said for the NA qualifiers... even though there were some really good games. DesRow advanced to Challenger for the first time, awesome for him, and FXO.Lucky looked extremely impressive securing his spot.

So, apparently there has been a format change or something else we don't know about.
The CNCE page for the qualifiers has been posted, and it shows only two sessions with six groups each for a total of 12, well down from the 23+ expected. (Assuming the usual 16 players per group stays, this also means a maximum of 192 total participants, but should mean the brackets are filled with less byes than the last couple.)
Thinking out loud, perhaps the format has changed to group finalists advance? Although this would result in 24 players which I think is one more than the number of open spots unless there has been another withdrawal.
Anyone know what's happening?

Ragnarok, sora and cure are the ones I want to see go through.

Here I was wondering if Bisu would get a manageable group. Then...

Didn't a few players in gsl retire? Probably filling those empty code a slots. Flying and jangbi were both taking slots I think.
