Hey guys,
Need For Seat is hosting a Battle of the Sexes showmatch between 2 players who are very near and dear to their and our hearts!
America's Sweetheart Flo "Flo" Flo will take on Dennis"TaKe" Gehlen, the man behind HomeStory Cup and Acer TeamStory in an epic Bo7o3. Basically, whoever wins two best of 7s first will be the winner and walk away with $ 500 !!
The first part of this showmatch is played on Sunday, July 21 on 13:00 PDT, (16:00 Eastern, 22:00 CET).
The second Bo7 will be played on Sunday, July 28.
If Flo and Take are tied, then there will be a final bo7 on a later date which will be announced.
I'll be casting the games tomorrow. Hope to see you guys there! It should be a lot of fun!!
You can find additional information at: http://www.facebook.com/NEEDforSEATusa
During the showmatch, we will have something special for the viewers as well :D
Although this is a fun showmatch, it is serious as well. The European HQ of Need for Seat is backing up Dennis and, of course, their American counterpart is cheering for Flo. It's the classic struggle of NA vs EU!! Who do you guys think is gonna take it?!
See you Tomorrow, July 21st @ 13:00 for part 1 of the Need for Seat Battle of the Sexes! I'll be back to update the OP with more information soon.
------------------------------------------------------------
Update Round 2 !!!
Last Sunday Dennis was able to win the first bo7 with a 4-3 Score! Will Dennis win again and close out the series?
The second Bo7 starts at July 28 @ 10:00 Pacific , (( 13:00 Eastern & 19:00 CET ))

Does anyone know Take's ladder ranking? Flo is mid-high masters, but i was never under the impression that take was that high up.
P.S. Battle of the Sexes is a horrid event name...
|
Take's pretty decent, he streams a bunch and is also around the same level as flo.

TaKe currently sits at place 11 of his Masters division with 1208 points.

Take is pretty solid in TvT. Its his best matchup by far with 67% winrate. He even had 80-90% in the beginning of the season. Currently hes grinding a lot of ladder... just last week he had a 100 games no sleep marathon. For his ladder ranking thats actually quite bad, so hes mid/high master overall but his TvT is definetely high master, even playing gm players now and then.
I have no idea how good flo is though. Gonna be fun to watch :D

Take will be the gentleman and let her win obviously!
|
Take's TvT looks pretty solid on his stream. I guess he can take it Awesome to get Rotterdam as a caster for an event like this, perfect fit I guess :D Can we get some smacktalk via Skype before and after the matches maybe?
|
I think TaKe will win, but not to zero. Will be fun.
And some interviewes before would be good^^
This is like TaKes first serious match were he can win money in sc2.

Starting in 1 hour wheehaw :D working on getting a co-caster as well, don't mind solo casting but well, the more the merrier? Should work out!

my bet is on flo, she was doing some nice open bracket finishes in mlg lately also don't forget the thorzain effect in general and especially when it comes to tvt she also very recently started using mech in tvt, after being a straight bio player for a long long long time, and what can i say, she makes mech look so easy at her ladder level, like it's easy wins
take, i would be very impressed if he can take a map in a serious macro game
