Playoff Picture
EGTL are already eliminated from playoff contention. They can finish no higher than 6th place. A loss today will put them back to 7th place due to mapscores. A win today will put them one game ahead of CJ Entus and 2 games ahead of Team 8.
KT Rolster have already qualified for the playoffs and sit in 2nd place. They are currently battling with SKT T1 and STX for position in the playoffs. If KT Rolster win today, they will be one game ahead of STX SouL. If they lose, they will be tied with STX SouL with a superior differential, allowing them to stay in second.
Playoff Positioning
KT sit in 2nd place with 22-17, +18. They have 3 games left. In order to seal second place, KT Rolster need to win at least 2/3 games and have a net differential of +5 from these remaining games.
For STX to overtake KT Rolster, KT Rolster need to lose at least 1/3 games AND have a net differential of less than +4 from these remaining games, with STX winning 2/2 as 4-0s in this scenario. STX need to win at least as many games as KT Rolster from their remaining games while making up that 5 mapscore difference.
If SKT T1 want to jump up to second, they either need to win 2/2 games with KT Rolster losing at least 2/3 games and STX losing at least 1/2, or win 1/2 games with KT Rolster and STX SouL losing all their remaining games. These 'at least' scenarios will tie SKT in the amount of wins, but SKT need a superior mapscore in order to qualify as second. Unfortunately they are at +13, the lowest of the three. They basically need to get two 4-0s and hope for KT and STX to lose as many games as possible.
