What are you guys looking forward to? The biggest excitement this year is the beginning of the next generation consoles and what they have to offer along with the games, of course. I am looking forward to Microsoft and Sony's conferences since they should announce a price, release date, and the launch titles. Besides that, we should see if Sony will do anything similar to Microsoft's latest news this week. As for the games, I am excited to see what new IP's will will be getting since games like Ubisoft's Watch_Dogs surprised many people.

I hope the new games unveiled are not just FPS that genre is approaching burn out.

yup, I am really pumped for this. I just hope Sony rises to the occasion and makes us believe that it's still a proper gaming console.
Personally, I lost all hope in MS. However, the Kinect does interest me professionally as I have used the 360 Kinect for research purposes. I really hope the new Kinect brings more stable tracking. I don't even care if the depth resolution stays the same as long as a light breeze outside the window won't cause the tracking to fail.

Thank god Sony is last so i can stop watching after Ubisoft.
Cant wait to see what companies EA announces they bought out and ruined this year.

For the good of the game industry, PLEASE don't fuck this up Sony. You could literally copy/paste the PS3 with better system specs and you would destroy MS in this next console generation.

they could leave out the used game parts and add in backwards compatability and get 3 consoles worth of a library in a few seconds.
Ah E3 at the begining of a new console generation. Loyalties don't matter anymore and you can start fresh once again without feeling bad about yourself.
I went from ps2 to xbox 360. Lets see where the war will take us now.

First off im a huge microsoft fan. However, im hoping Sony doesnt suck ass for another 8 years and go back do doing what they do best which is crazy good single player games.
If they stop trying to play catch-up to the Xbox, which they cant do since they cant innovate, and just go back to making sick games, everyone would benefit.
Really wish Last of us was on the PS4 so i could eventually play it down the line after i see if Sony is still trying to emulate everyone else.

Well if you bought your games on the PSN its "kinda" backward compatible, unless they suddenly say that it'll use a different network or something, which I highly doubt.
Anyway I hope ALL of these conferences impress me. For one, I want all of them to give us our money's worth, if competition dies out, so does quality. But I already decided to buy a PS4, been a fan since a kid and I still am.

I just hope we see less Shooter games and more... everything else (and swords). Not a big fan of shooter games because going out to the firing range is so much more fun (and stress relieving)
