Gonna be interesting to see how Crs's new support is going to fare because if I'm not mistaken Elementz decided to become a free agent but still play for Crs if they need him for the time being.

If CLG loses first round to Vulcun I will be so depressed. I think Dignitas is very likely to beat GGU but I think CLG vs Vulcun is probably like 60% chance of CLG victory. I have faith though, don't let me down.

Do the top 2 placers get to represent their region in the season 3 world championships? In the article it doesn't say anything about this so I assume not, but why? Are the season 3 world championships not for another several months?

The LCS is split in two parts and this is merely the first part - the important part is coming up after this season. Top4 of this tournament wins prizes as well as stay in LCS and the rest will qualify through challenger tournaments or something like that.

Ah thank you. It's a strange season system they use splitting up into two parts like this. They should at least give the first place team some sort of advantage getting into the world championships.

I disagree. If the spring split winner gets some world finals advantage, and they go in a huge slump or have big roster changes, it doesn't make sense for them to keep that world finals advantage.

I'm oddly comforted by the resurgent TSM. I remember when M5 1st played TSM at some NA based IEM, since then I have always supported the Baylife Bros. I just want some consistency in this chaotic NA LCS

Iono, I think what's misleading is that in a few interviews of TSM members, Xpecial in particular, they'll say stuff along the lines of "Getting 1st seed was nice, but it won't matter if we don't keep up this form for the playoffs. The playoffs are where it will really count." And yet that doesn't seem to be the case since it's only a cash prize that they're playing for, a pretty meager one in comparison to what will be on the line at worlds. They could technically lose in the semis and still be fine if they just have some off-games and continue to stomp in the 2nd half of the LCS.

I could see CLG beat TSM, but chauster needs to not get less XP than the opposing team's support. His total lack of farm has bothered me all season. This isn't the starving african jungler meta of S2. Find some damn time to farm.

Meanwhile, why does dignitas make it so hard to have faith in them ;_;
