Can't find any information on lolesports.com, although I'd think that a promotion series to qualify for summer's LCS should be part of it?! They aren't playing Azure cats. They playing winner of Azure cats Doublebuff. Here is brackets: http://leaguepedia.com/wiki/Riot_League_Championship_Series/North_America/Season_3/Summer_Promotion People talking about them playing Jiji's team are just assuming they will beat this other team but it's not a given. If anything has been proven this weekend is that nothing is a given.

It'd just mean the end of Hotshot and Chauster's league careers. Lots of teams would be willing to pick up Doublelift and LiNk+Aphromoo could probably get picked up as subs at the very least (honestly wouldn't be surprised if CLG loses if GGU were to replace Jintae with LiNk). 1. Not sure why Chauster is bunched with HSGG there. 2. I don't think it's that simple. If a team qualifies, I'm sure there's some rule in there that you can't replace 3 or more players (that's over half the team). 3. CLG brand wouldn't disappear but it would still take a huge hit if they didn't qualify for LCS on their own. People talk about picking up one of the LCS teams? Again, that would tarnish the brand incredibly.

I'm pretty sure Curse would be interested in picking up Doublelift. I didn't mean a team would pick up 2-3 of them. Although Curse could probably pick up Doublelift and Aphromoo and kill two birds with one stone. It'd be different, for sure. Just saying that CLG wouldn't go away just the team that we know and love (or hate) would be the thing to die. Not the brand. And HotshotGG's probably going to be in the League scene until he doesn't want to anymore (just might not be as a player anymore). I don't think they're gonna lose in ups/downs though. I'd be pretty devastated if they did lose.

Being a "CLG-hater" (with quotes), should it happen I will drink the ketchup with tears of happiness.

Dignitas loses to GGU? Demoted to up/down matches. CLG loses to Vulcun? Demoted to up/down matches. Curse loses to GGU AND Vulcun? Welcome to NA LCS Summer Split! Also, I think one thing that is overlooked is just how long a 5 game series really is in LoL. These amateur teams have generally not played on this stage at this length of series. In a 1 game playoff? Sure, CLG/Dig might be in real trouble. In a 3 game series? It's not crazy to think that a bad game could cost them the series. But in a 5 game series it will take some serious nerves from CLG/Dig to fall out of LCS. If those teams lose it won't be because of a bad mistake, it will be because another team came, beat them, and deserved it.

With what happened to Velocity, nothing will convince me unless they make it not happen again.

Either way, I see at least one team failing soon and having the others fight over its scraps.
