For the amount of "whine" saint was dishing out on Twitter after analysts like Nick Allen and MonteCristo said KR is ahead of everyone else + NA is dead last, this is his/Curse's time to show that he (saint) is right and everyone else is underestimating NA atm.

Does anyone know why MYM wasn't in the Eu s3 qualifyers? Did they just not make it though that tournament or what?

MYM are in the live qualifier from another tournament. They didn't have to play through the ranked 5s qualifier.

Group B should be Frost + Fnatic easy (the FF combo), with AL and SK getting destroyed.
That depends entirely on Fnatic though. Frost should absolutely have this, no questions asked.

Group A is slightly more interesting, where I'd only give Blaze a tentative "advance" prediction.
M5 (Yeahyeah, "gambit") are more upsettable than ever, and MYM is known to upset stuff out of nowhere.
I would be surprised if Curse advances, though.

Curse has historically done better against international teams compared to the other NA teams. They're in a hard group but it might not be too surprising for them to squeak out at 2nd place. It all depends on their play order and who gets to study their first game(s). I think they they have a better chance if they play M5 or Azubu first.

I think Saint might have gotten a little over zealous in defense of his team. To try and say that KR isn't as strong as everyone makes them out to be when international tournaments say otherwise is a little silly. I think it's plausible they could manage 2nd in their group by upsetting Blaze or M5, but I can't confidently say the odds are in their favor.

Curse is playing with Rhux though. Dunno if they'll be in top tier shape after qualifying after LCS and with thier sub.

I don't believe in curse cause they will be playing with a sub. Here are my predictions:

A:Blaze MYM advance, blaze has too much experience, gambit just got back from their break and have been losing a lot of 5v5s and scrims even vs "second tier" teams.

B:Frost and Sk, it seems to me that fnatic will still be burnt out(tactic wise) after the intense preperations to ipl5 and SK will have good tactics vs them(as in EU regionals vs CLG.eu).

Okay yeah, without Nyjacky I don't seem them being able to pull off any huge upsets, especially if Rhux goes Mid. He mains top and is pretty good at support, but I haven't really seen his mid play. Voy, Cop, and Jacky often split responsibility when it comes to carrying games, but if Rhux can't hold his own Mid that's going to spell trouble for the rest of the team.
