I am just happy by the fact alone that I secured two wins in one day. It is something that brings me joy whenever I achieve it. When I get back to the team house, I am sure that I'll see a lot of compliments regarding my performance once I check the community sites so I am happy about that.
How did you feel when you found out that you were being sent out as the ace?
If I had lost, I probably would have cut going to the internet out of my life for today. Whenever I read people's comments regarding my losses I start to feel the pain that actors and actresses have to go through. So I decided to play my match with the thought that I would be able to look at people's comments while feeling happy if I won.
When did you know that you had won the ace match?
I felt like I had the game won once I started attacking after my 2-2 finished upgrading. When TaeJa failed to safely secure his ghosts and my psionic storms were forcing TaeJa to lift his natural CC, I started thinking that I had won. Afterwards, I destroyed both his engineering bays and that's when I knew for sure that I couldn't lose.
Did you feel any pressure by the fact that EG-TL had TaeJa and HerO available this time around?
If you see the potential they hold, it is obvious that they are a powerful team. And then they took us all the way to the ace match so I got intimidated and nervous. We won because a lot of factors fell in to the right place and we got lucky. Even before the match began, I knew that they were a force like none other to be reckoned with.
Were you surprised when HuK commenced his final attack?
I was having so much fun with my attacks since I was hitting here and there that I did not realize that HuK was already at my natural. I realized one more time that it's just never a good idea to let your guard down.
You are steadily solidifying your image as CJ's ace. You must feel yourself getting greedier.
I want to have the most wins. I am always determined to do my best and to win if I am ever sent out as the ace.
Who do you think will be the toughest opponents to face for this season?
Flash, FanTaSy, Rain, and so many other players are really good. I can't necessarily just pick one. Everyone is fierce competition.
Anything else you would like to say?
A lot of fans came to the studio today. I want to thank them for making the atmosphere so lively. I am going to use the encouragement from the fans to ensure that I give even better performances.
