We would like to know your thoughts on carrying your team into the Round of 4.
I didn't know that I would end up defeating everybody today. I was looking forward to making maybe one or two kills, but achieving such an unspeakably good result makes me happy.
As many had anticipated, you were put forth as the ace. Your team was down 1-4 when you were sent out, so didn't you feel burdened?
I didn't feel too much burden. I believed that as long as I could defeat Creator and MarineKing-hyung, I would be guaranteed to win, so I viewed my games as being a series of one-on-ones against them.
During today's games, you used a style where you attacked after you researched heavy upgrades, with relatively little harassment. Has this been a change in your play style?
I wasn't too aware of a change. I witnessed a variety of styles while watching so many matches at MLG, and I think that I picked up on it subconsciously.
You unfortunately reached only second place at MLG. You were in line to become both the first three-time MLG champion and the first player to win two consecutive MLGs but failed; you must feel a lot of regret over this.
During my final match with Life, I got overexcited after being up on him 3-1 and began to have trouble with all of my games afterwards. Even during the last set, I was in an advantageous position but lost because I became too eager. Outwardly, I said that I was okay with taking second place, but I felt a lot of regret on the inside.
Was your match against Life difficult?
ZvZ as a whole is difficult, and trying to keep up with Life's particularly speedy play made it even harder.
For your next GSTL match at the semifinals, you will face StarTale, a team with two second-place finishes. Do you feel confident?
While StarTale may have taken second place two times, that also means that they have reached the finals twice. It's going to be difficult with Life on their side, but our team isn't one to be underestimated, either. I think it'll be an exciting match.
After losing to Life at MLG Fall, you must want revenge.
We can meet at the GSL Round of 16 and at the GSTL Round of 4. I want to defeat Life myself in the GSL but have my teammates beat him at the GSTL. I'd like to win against him a bit more comfortably (laughs).
You were placed in a four-Zerg group at the GSL group nominations.
I was surprised when Soulkey picked me out. The group isn't one that I would prefer to be in, but I think it'll still be exciting. I feel that as long as I prepare thoroughly, it will be possible for me to make the Round of 8.
