ASUS ROG The GD Invitational has advanced to the playoffs stage where the six remaining players decide how the $10 000 USD prize pool shall be divided.

Yesterday we saw two groups of four to determine their inner rankings. se (T)EG.ThorZaIN.RC and de (Z)TLAF-Liquid.TLO managed to come on top in their groups, so they are getting a free pass to the semi-finals and thus securing at least a $1000 prize for themselves.

In the first round of the playoffs, the second place finisher will play against the third place finisher in the other group. The matches are bo3 in the first round and bo5 from there on.

They are all good guys so it's not easy to choose a winner to cheer for. Thorzain has won tournaments before and is on a team that pays well, so he may step aside. :p

Good matches upcoming, possible rematch from TSL3 semifinals with Kas and ThorZaIN.. and hopefully TLO can keep up his awesome run from yesterday, although LucifroN might be tough to handle.
