Agreed, but he wasn't alone. Zerg built up a massive force (like 12 ultras) outside his primary that was just sitting there for about 5 minutes while red's expos were COMPLETELY undefended. There are some things the zerg should've done sooner (drop 5 oclock anyone?), but overall a good game.

Poor T. I think he had too many wraiths, but going wraiths to change the Z's plans, I thought, was a good move.

To uhjoo, I think wraiths can be a good choice if z goes ultra/ling without ovie speed. It's annoying harass, around a dozen are probably good. At some point though, their pros don't show as much the more you build them. Maybe he could've used all that gas for tanks or vessels. I think he built around 25 wraiths that game, so that's 25 more tanks or around 12 more vessels.

The scourging was just sick which really payed off since terran has a hard time vs ultra/ling/defiler on the ground without massive vessel support. I guess the wraiths was a desperation move that wasn't all that bad except for once plague wasnt just a cool move, it crushed him :D.

its so hard to beat zerg ultraling... yea, I agree - he probably was quite desperate. If those wraiths were a bit earlier in the game (when the zerg wasn't so powered), it might have done more?

I think if the terran had been more aggressive raping the zerg eco (I'm thinking especially the first wraith attack not going for 7 2nd nat?) it might have allowed him to tilt the game back to balance. The Z scourge on vessels all game allowed him to eventually outmuscle the T to the point he had to switch things up with that 4 port wraith move. It wasn't a bad strategy but it might have been a little bit of "too little, too late".

Z played great almost the entire game to get that win.

i don't mean to be too critical, the terran did a nice job especially up through the middle of the game.

but if i remember correctly there was a point in the game when terran had 3 gas expos, was doing a good job taking out zerg expos, and had nearly 200/200 that could defend all his bases. to me his 5 port wraith was more of a "i have all this money i don't know where to spend it" he even upgraded wraith attack by 2 -_-

better to slap down 3 more factories and another armory to double upgrade mech ground, and pump massive tanks or even go 3 port bc. or even mass matrixed dropships. just alot of other plays that would've been better imo.

i only say this b/c all terrans have been in a situation where they can't quite push out bc of ultra defiler crack but have money to spend, and imo maybe after around a handful of wraiths, there are other places to spend money -_-
