It seems we have finally arrived here once again. The notorious/hellish placement in Code S known as Ro8. All eight players right now have safely secured their placement for the 2012 GSL Season 4 Code S, the players no longer feel pressured by the threat of falling into Code A. But unfortunately they cannot relax just yet. In fact, they have to work even harder than before. Because right now, at this very moment, each player is realizing the same thing. They are the final eight. And they are the only ones who are qualified to grab that revered GSL trophy. With this in mind, each player will face off in a Bo5 with the same mentality. The mentality of one that is thinking "I MUST CRUSH MY OPPONENT!" And they must keep this mentality for three more rounds if they wish to be standing on that platform kissing that trophy. Standing there with all the spotlights on them, and the crowd going absolutely nuts cheering for him. And then, there are the players. The envious players who were so close and yet could not do it in the end. Just who will this player be? Let us meet our first four contenders.
+ Show Spoiler [HYPE] +Ahhh Seed....... Seed is without a doubt the most perplexing player of the eight. Is he good? Is he really good? Is he just so far ahead of the others that no one recognizes his genius? Or is he just a "one hit wonder?" Seed has no doubt been the one person in this Code S who has just truly been underrated. As a player, he just doesn't seem to be appreciated as much as the other big namers in this Code S. But of course, Seed would not allow such a notion to continue. In order to prove who who he truly is, Seed decided to dominate both his Code S groups to make it into the Ro8. That is why from here on out, every victory Seed earns will no doubt be a statement. "I'm here, I'm queer, deal with it."  (ppl seem to not get this statement so I'll clear it up. It's a Family Guy reference) But this statement may not be heard at all if he cannot overcome his fearsome opponent..... who just so happens to be.....
+ Show Spoiler [HYPE] +So this next guy here..... yeah..... he's an absolute monster..... Symbol is without a doubt "the next Zerg bonjwa." Have you seen what this monster accomplished? After his 2nd place in Iron Squid, people expected big things from Symbol. But did they honestly expect him to get 2nd place in the MLG qualifiers, 2nd place in MLG, and reverse all kill LG-IM?  This man is a force to be reckoned with. His ZvP may not be as well known as ZvT but there is no denying that Symbol will definitely not let Seed advance into the Ro4 easily. In fact, he may just not let Seed advance at all. We shall see soon......
+ Show Spoiler [HYPE] +Dun dun da rah~ Dan da rah dun dun dun da dun! Do you hear that? That's the president's theme song! Which means here comes the arrival of SK.MC! MC is an absolute baws. Known for his infatuating and exciting style of play, MC has definitely found a place in all our hearts. And who could forget his ceremonies?  Is he cocky? Yes he is. But does he have the right to be? Every last bit of it. MC is consistently one of the best, if not the best Protoss player(s) on this planet. With his ridiculously attractive girlfriend by his side along with his 2 GSL trophies, and a plethora of foreign tournament victories, MC will sit down at that booth tonight, crack a smile, and dominate his way into the Ro4. But is it truly that easy? Can one man just waltz into the Ro4 like so? Probably...... if only his opponent hadn't turned out to be-.......
+ Show Spoiler [HYPE] +If you guys don't already know by now, TaeJa is a demon. What do I mean by that? TaeJa is doing so well right now that it is IMPOSSIBLE to not see him winning the whole thing. Let us see just exactly how TaeJa has been utilizing his demonic powers. He qualified for IPL 5. Meh, okay. Then he qualified for TSL 4. Impressed yet? Well what if I told you he all killed Prime in IPL TAC 3? Not sold yet? What about the fact that he took down a rising Protoss player known as Creator? Convinced now? Cool, then my work here is done  . Now I'm not going to say it's going to be easy for TaeJa because Code S is no laughing matter, but holy crap, TaeJa is an absolute beast. We should all wish him good luck tonight. TaeJa, if you can triumph over the president, you will no doubt be one step closer to that lovely GSL trophy. But be warned, taking down MC is no easy task. But if done correctly, you may be able to walk away tonight with a smile and his gf in your arms. (j/k j/k j/k) To all the people giving me crap about my OP:
Ever since day 1 of my Live Reporting back in November, I've always tried to add quirky little things into my OPs. It's just who I am. I like to see ppl laugh and smile.
I honestly just don't give a crap about making it look professional. Why would I do that? Do I get paid? Am I rewarded in some way? Am I going to get recognized by some writing company?
No.
You know what I AM going to get? Laughter and joy from my viewers. Hype for the upcoming matches. And most important of all, we all feel like family.
My intention was not to make this into a joke. It was to get everyone close and laughing and having a good time,
From here on out, I will not be adjusting myself to satisfy the complainers. I'll still take criticism and feedback and change things if it is indeed a problem. But from what I can tell, the majority of the people like what I do. I'm sorry but that's just the way it is.
I am not perfect. Nor can I satisfy everyone. Please just try to understand why I do things the way I do them.

I like the hype but honestly I hate the way its written. Too much caps lock, random length ellipses, u instead of you and whatnot. I appreciate the extra work in this LR thread, but I tend to expect more from anything important on TL.
Anyway go Symbol!
As for the other match I love both players, so I'm happy either way. I guess go Taeja because we need more Terran!

Though I'm ofc most excited to see Nestea play tomorrow out of being a fan, I really think Seed vs Symbol will be the most exciting in terms of gameplay in the ro8 as well as the closest. They both really try to utilize under-explored aspects or their race and it's Seed best mu by far vs Symbol's worst (he's still good ZvP though).
I expect Symbol to take it 3-2. Yet, even though I play Zerg and Symbol has been one of my favorites for awhile now, I hope Seed wins . People have sold him short each round and IM needs a good showing in the individual league after the embarrassment in the gstl.
MC vs Taeja could also be very good. I could see it going either way and am predicting the victor winning with a 3-1. Only question is which one? MC can play like a god sometimes, but others...not so much. Not to mention Taeja has been doing very well lately.
Overall I see day 1 on paper as direct contrast to day 2. I'm predicting Nestea and DRG to 3-0 tomorrow xD

Taeja better have been practicing his ass off for MC. Knowing MC, he just wings every game and it seems to carry him through. Advantage for Taeja because of MC's small jetlag

This is how I do things. I use caps to emphasize my energy. If it'll help, I'll go back and edit the caps and tone it down

MC beats Taeja 3-2, I don't know about Seed vs Symbol. I've yet to see Seed's PvZ.

Seed 3-2 Symbol, I expect this one to include a ton of weird things. Should be a great series nonetheless.
Taeja 3-0 MC. That's right. The only protoss who seems to have Taeja's number right now is HerO and MC might be jetlagged hard, not even mentioning that imo PvT is his weakest matchup.

"..." is an ellipsis, and they are supposed to be three periods. It can just be awkward to read when they are randomly written as "..........." or whatever, just doesn't look as good.

Eh, it's not a huge deal, just makes things a bit less readable. To me a Code S LR thread should be treated like a front-page article since it's a major event but I don't know what the general consensus is for all of TL.
And the random length ellipses are all the ...'s They're supposed to always be three dots.
Anyway thanks for all the hard work and dedication! I know I could almost never be committed to waking up at 5am to keep things updated.
