The playoffs is played Single Elimination BO3 from Round of 16 until the Semifinals. Grand Final is played BO5 in DreamArena Extreme in front of the huge on-site audience and millions of viewers around the globe.

These are crucial points if you want to be part of the very exclusive 24-player Grand Final tournament at DreamHack Winter 2012 with 550 000 SEK in the prize pool.

I am not a fan of 128-player tournaments with only top 4 getting prize money, besides that everything is looking great as always.

My thoughts too. Top 8 should be awarded prizes. And with three days to use (I realize the schedule might have been an issue at DH Stockholm) there really should be enough time to play Bo5 semis and maybe also Bo5 quarters. Bo3 semis feels rather meh.

Because exchange rates change, and they are paying out in SEK.
