First three players:
I will name them as soon as their travel is confirmed. The first three guys are guys I know and have talked to/worked with extensively in the past. First guys are pretty experimental. I want to make sure things are running smoothly with people I know before I start rotating in newer guys.
Players will stay for 3-6 months at a time, depending on things like visas, schedules, etc.
I want to make sure to always have at least one player from EU and NA in the house at a time.
The underlying goal of this project:
I want to provide opportunity to promising players who wouldn't otherwise get it. This means:
a.) players that aren't on teams b.) players who are on smaller teams that can't afford to send them places c.) players who are on good teams, but who don't get much exposure
I can't release 100% of the details yet, but I'll keep you guys updated, I promise.
I hope you're all as excited as I am.
I really feel that one of the best ways to build e-sports is by empowering the players and providing them with more and better opportunities. This is one of the ways that I feel I can help make this happen.
edit:
You can expect to see the first content out of the team around the 2nd week of April.

This, also, will people be able to apply for the next one?

We'll most likely take the first applications around June.
It's possible that we may reach out to one player prior to that.

What will be your main focus when picking people to join the house? Just good ladder placement and dedication? Or will you take tournament/cup results into account?
I am guessing both.

So applications are just kind of open to interpretation? Make a youtube video or something I guess? Why only 3-4 players in the house, isn't that a bit too few for it to be successful?

We're not trying to start a Korean house.
We're providing support to players that wouldn't otherwise have it.
If EG is a pro team, I'm trying to create a "farm team" of sorts. A place where players can come and develop before moving on to bigger and better things.
A success story for me is "Billy comes to the house, works hard for three months, and is then picked up by a pro team".
Practice will mostly happen on ladder, through online cups, and through what connections I have with other pros.
This is not a vacation.
This will be a sweat shop. Players will be expected to work.
It's a bed, food, a gym membership, and lots and lots of hard work. (As well as some other opportunities that I'll talk more about as soon as I'm allowed to talk about it)

Sounds amazing, but I don't understand why only so few will train together. Unless there sin't enough space in the house, it sound expensive to put up such an organization for only 4 guys at a time.
Lucky 4 guys though.
