Confirms on Startale's Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/StarTale_SC2
My Korean is not enough to give a translate but the basic is as the topic suggests.
Former Chinese Warcraft 3 Pro "MisS" Han Yi Ying (韩懿莹) joins Startale as Starctaft 2 progamer today, signing the first ever non-korean female to join a Korean Progaming Team.
MisS now works for a Chinese gaming cable-TV GTV as hostess and commentator.

Full Translation: (courtesy of 원종욱@facebook and thanks Pulselol for posting down there and juicyjames for reminding me this)

StarTale announces female SC2 player addition

It is no secret that StarTale.Rainbow visited China together with his girlfriend, Aphrodite, for last years ZOWIE DIVINA. Where most people think that his reason for attending the event was to support Aphrodite in her efforts to become champion, he had a different mission that has been kept a secret until now. While Aphrodite was practicing for the games, Rainbow was testing the skills of a potential new member of the StarTale family, the Chinese SC2 player Yiying ‘miss’ Han - and she passed. Yiying ‘miss’ Han was a professional Warcraft 3 player up until a few years ago where she was offered a job to become the hostess of a gaming tv show. Today she is the most famous gaming tv hostess in China, but unable to forget about her dream of becoming a professional e-sports player, she started to play Sc2, and has found time to practice every day despite of her busy schedule.

Her dedication and passion to e-sports attracted the attention of StarTale and after a series of tests, she has been offered the chance to pursue her dream.

“When I first heard of miss, I was told about a very famous hostess of a gaming program, but I didn’t know she had so much talent in game.” said Jong Wook Won, head coach of StarTale and continues, “Professional gaming is not only for males, when female players with as much talent as aphrodite and miss comes by, you have to grab the moment and give them the chance to grow their talent in the best environment. This is just the beginning, we want to help make female gaming more competitive.”

“Lots of people told me that I am stupid for giving up my job as a tv hostess to become a computer player, but how often do you get a chance to follow your dream?” said Yiying ”miss” Han, “When I got informed of this test to become a member of StarTale I was really nervous, just to get the opportunity is a dream come true. When I was told I could become a part of StarTale, it was the happiest day of my life, I still can’t believe it! I will do my best every day, in every game. This is my dream come true.”

Miss is the first female player from outside Korea to join a Korean professional team. miss is practicing very hard for her first official appearance as a StarTale player – we look forward to seeing her in action!

Make something clear here: she is still on her casting job but will contribute far more time on practicing with the help from Startale coaches, thus her position is more like what DoA is in It's Gosu.

EDIT: Remove broken image, asking a friend to translate the page.
EDIT2: it seems that she plans to start full time practicing in like 2 or 3 months.
EDIT3: added full translation.

So is she a part of team or something outside? She's working at a Chinese gaming cable-TV as a hostess and commentator, so what is her role or point in joining ST?

Maybe once the article is translated we will know, but will she be a progamer full time or continue to work at GTV? I hope she does well.

Is she being added to the roster? The fact that she is a commentator suggests otherwise.

Here's hoping she does better than the other female SC2 progamers. It'd be exciting to see a female progamer win even one of the smaller well-known tournaments like Go4SC2 or Playhem.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

fun fact: I was lucky to be a referee at one of her old warcraft 3 matches back in 2007 or 2008.
