Infinity Gaming and LaG.TT enter new partnership - Introducing InfLaG.TT
sponsored by Ttesports

Infinity Gaming and Latest and Greatest (LaG) Gaming are happy to announce a new partnership between their Starcraft II teams - InfLaG.TT. (Both Infinite Lag and Lagfinity were ruled out early on)

With solid leadership on both sides, we hope to present a new and formidable team to the Starcraft II community. Infinity and LaG decided to join forces when management on both sides recognized how the unique advantages of both communities could complement and bolster a united team.

Both sides hope to tap into a level of professionalism and success that neither side has reached thus far. Our joint goal will be to continue in the tradition of great teams to come before either of our organizations and to increase the recognition and expansion of eSports around the world.

A few highlighted InfLaG.TT players:

(T) AlexCmoi
---LAN ETS 2011 - Second Place (shared with Root's Fayth)

(P) CuHz
---SteelSeries Fragged Nation - Second Place
---Teamspeak Teamliquid Sc2 Open #26 - Top 6
---StarCraft II Go4SC2 IEM Kiev Championship - Top 6

(T) Faith
---GM League Season 2 (#4), Season 3 (#23), Season 4 (#16)
---Rated #3 macro player on Teamliquid

(Z) Spydo
---Harvey Mudd LAN - 3rd Place
---Irvine Social LAN Circuit - 7th Place

(P) TubbyTheFat (aka TTF)
---SteelCity Esports T1 Open - First Place
---Monster Arcade - First Place

more comprehensive list: http://sc2ranks.com/c/11568/inflag-tt/

As a side note, check out our upcoming Infinity vs. WhiteRa Showmatch

Both management teams would like to thank and credit coL.MVP for establishing a model for this type of professional arrangement.

About Infinity Gaming

Infinity Gaming Pro is the Starcraft II team representing the greater Infinity Gaming community. Infinity Gaming was founded in January 2011 under the name Clan Infinity. Clan Infinity has since expanded greatly - from Infinity Events (formerly CiG Tournaments), Infinity EU and its associated teams.

Infinity Gaming Pro represents the best that Infinity has to offer. Our players have participated at many MLG events in the United States and we hope to expand our repertoire to include more LAN and online events.

Infinity Gaming is a diverse Starcraft II, League of Legends and soon Diablo III community. In addition to the teams, Infinity has a casting department, a paid coaching program and the general Clan community. You can check out all Infinity has to offer at http://infgaming.net.

About LaG.TT

Latest and Greatest GaminG [LaG] was established in 2007 by a small group of Latin American Warcraft 3 players with the mission of not only winning in tournaments and leagues, but to truly love the game they played. The team began as Latin American Gaming [LaG], and was comprised mainly of players from Southern and Central America. Over the years the team expanded rapidly to include many international players who shared our founding philosophy of professional-level competition but in an a fun and enjoyable manner. Because we are now a truly global team, with players not only from Latin America, but the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, India, Greece, Finland, Holland, Denmark, Romania and Bulgaria, we  changed our name to Latest and Greatest GaminG [LaG].

Not only have our players achieved some remarkable feats at national events but they have also represented the team and their nations at international events like WCG and Blizzcon. LaG's Warcraft 3 team has grown into one of the top teams in the world being represented at most of the top international events.

With the release of Starcraft 2, LaG immediately started a team realizing this will be the game of the future. Although Starcraft 2 has only recently been released we have already set up a stable team with a lot of potential, who are beginning to show their talent more and more with each passing day.  Several of our players have won LANs, been featured is Blizzard's lists of top 200 players, and beaten well known players around the globe.

Neither teams have ever been good, why not just disband and pour your resources into something useful? I'm very disappointed in this announcement, I would have expected more out of two mediocre teams.

FIrst of all, best of luck to you guys. I have a question regarding the announcement though.

Both management teams would like to thank and credit coL.MVP for establishing a model for this type of professional arrangement.

Can anyone care to expand on how this merger is anything like relationship between coL.MVP?
Is there sponsorship support between players in each team? Looking at the player pool I don't even see anyone noteworthy besides Faith (who doesn't take this game seriously anyways).

It was inspired by that arrangement - an agreement and partnership where both sides get to retain their own character. It was more a comment on the logistics of the arrangement than trying to equate anything with those teams.

When we were working things out, we studied that relationship to the extent that it seemed like we almost needed to "cite our sources."

I hope that clears it up what was meant by that
