Three Dawn of War players, Matthew "True" Hopkins, Charlie "Charlie" Hess and Kyung "SelecT" Hyun Ryoo, have been banned from the Global Gaming League and any future events organized by the GGL.
The ban was applied for cheating during the GGL 2K4 Online Season's DoW playoffs.
Members of the same team at the time, True, Charlie and SelecT helped each other go through to the later rounds of GGL's tournament. In the double elimination playoff, True accepted money to take a dive in his game against SelecT, knowing that he was not likely to win anyway and had a second chance in the lower bracket.
In another game, wary of not going through, Charlie paid SelecT to knock out an Eldar player under his name.
The scams came to light as True bickered over money with Charlie and decided to confess and the whole matter was made public on a DoW community forum. Later, Charlie himself admitted that the incidents did take place and apologized.
Charlie remains part of the management of Trademark Gamers and SelecT is still part of the team. True's name can no longer be found on the roster.
btw is SK.SelecT = PhoeNiX_aNeLca in war3? I am pretty sure they are the same, if im not mistaken.
in that case, he is a pretty huge racist against americans and chinese people. I lost all my respect for him as a player due to that.
(if anyone is wondering, there was a rep back in like 1.14 or so of him vs my friend CareLess, a chinese american. CareLess was completely stomping him with zeppelin control and then anelca lets out a series of american and chinese bashing for the next 20 mins).

well i denno bout chu but lots of koreans do american bashing for idenno what they may think they better or something thats why i dont play sc anymore its annoying shit to hear em no offence all u nice ones :D
