I read about a tread SlayersMin starting his coaching but then people mostly didn't want to take lessons from him after telling him that they want to.
I was talking to SlayersMin about the coaching with his translator, where I told him that I am willing to take some lessons for more than just one hour if there is discount and etc.
I also told him that I'm waiting for my reimbursement on last MLG trip and it will be here this week-hopefully Tuesday, and would like to make an appointment ahead so that I can plan things ahead.
Then Min and translator talked in Korean, which includes...
Min: 그냥 버려. 돈들어오면 귓하라고해 시간낭비임 -_- 노매너 아냐?
Unfortunately, I have a Korean roommate who translated things out to me. which translates to...
Then fuck off. PM me when you have money. What a waste of time. Does he know no manners?
Well, I just think there usually is a reason for things to not go well, and maybe this time it's his attitudes to the lesson-takers.
For those of who did want to take lessons from Min, along with his translator, might want to think about it again, unless you like bm pros.

Maybe hes gotten jaded from all the people messaging then backing out?
|
Perhaps you should talk to him when you have money.
|
.... i would be pissed too if people lined up telling me they want tutoring but can't afford it lol
|
Wait, so let me get this straight, you didn't have money to pay him right now, so he told you to fuck off...? I'm a little confused by the OP.
|
Didn't really understand the part about MLG. I care to elaborate on why you should get an reimbursement?
Edit: Oh now I understand. He ha a point. Should have the money available to when dealing with with stuff like this imo

Perhaps that's it, too. But I really wanted to take a lesson from him. I'm just paying him right back with reimbursement from MLG trip!
I took this chance and got myself a new account, for another race, after this conversation.

Should it cost money just to inquire about lessons...its not like he said 100% he was going to take lessons...but he was just asking about them in the first place...why does that earn him a straight to the BM that he was given?....i can understand some words get lost in translation but from this view it looks pretty poorly on min but we dont know the full story so giving an opinion on this would not be educated

Does he speak english decently/fluently enough that he can get rid off his translator or does he need his translator? You'd wait half the time waiting for translation, not rly worth it if you buy h tbh t___t There are tons of foreigners that could bring you same/better lessons because there would be less/no language barrier, like Sheth, CatZ or even european zergs..

I love how your roommate translated it to be really provocative. 그냥 버려 is korean slang 'Just leave it' (I'm not bothering doing this) 돈들어오면 귓하라고해 'Tell him to pm me when he has the money first' 시간낭비임 -_- this is a waste of time -_- 노매너 아냐? Isn't this a bad manner?
The reason his tone is 'rude' (i.e. using no honorifics) is because he is talking to the translater. NOT THE FAN.
TL;DR translate it right plz

Picture yourselfs talking to a lot of people who wants to be trained and then telling you they don´t have the money. I would be pissed of aswell cuz writing to people who just want to troll can make you pretty mad I suppose?

All i told him before he got his translator is " What is your hourly rates for coaching lessons?", if that's what you're referring.
Otherwise I agree with your point. Maybe the solution is to cut his current hourly rates, because you do need to wait for translator to translate everything back at you, and the other way around.

you dont even have a source to what you said he said. You are a 7 poster and should be banned for trying to slander a player without even any proof
|
Maybe you should try including less clues about you being broke as a joke next time. People usually treat you a lot better then.
Could be just a misunderstanding though.

This is kinda rude, doing this to Min's business.. Hope you edit your post.

why do people assume money buys them right to act like this? if you would get a chance to be buddy-buddy with Steven Gerrard, Andres Iniesta or Samir Nasri for an hour, and all you had to do was pay 100$, you'd take it straight away. you wouldnt bug them afterwards, think that you made some kind of impact on them and that they have to remember you, or expect them to treat you like equals while the lesson was taking place. you would be happy just to be in their presence, and would enjoy the fact that they are not ignoring you..
same goes for sc2 players, even tho people dont wanna see it. his job is starcraft, so him saying "until you have the money fuck off - what a waste of time" really is just him saying the truth. he does starcraft for a living, so stop wasting his time.
also, you attacking his reputation is not very nice. proof?

I just wanted the money on entertainment sent right back to entertainment .
Second, don't you make appointment first then pay, instead of paying him and using the hours whenever you feel like it?

just have the money ready and then talk to him. no harm in waiting right?

stop back seat modding, you're in no position to put down posters when you're not even a vet.
