GAMES ON HOLD FOR A SHORT TIME
The Intel Extreme Masters New York event is fast approaching, and ESLSEA is having an invitational tournament this weekend for a qualifier! 1 Player from South East Asia will qualify for the event through this tournament!
The tournament will be 16 players facing off against each other in the standard winners/losers bracket style. With a catch. We have a cut-off time of 10pm GMT +8. Games will then be resumed at 4pm GMT+8 and will continue until the cup is finished. All 16 players have already been sent their invites and we hope each and every one of them can make it.
Update : After checking with the IEM organization, SEA does not have any direct slot for NY, we have to share it with Asia. Therefore the 2 finalists will be qualified foe the Asia Finals to face Sen and Commitment on Tuesday, 6th October.

starts in two days and still no invites?

So... is this happening and are they getting a slot?
The original slot distribution was 8 NA, 4 EU, 3 KR, and 1 SEA/China. A Chinese qualifier has been concluded and a Chinese site has announced him being placed in Group C. Is a SEA player still going to be going to IEM? Will he replace one of the Koreans or will he replace the Chinese player assuming there was some visa issue or something?

Last IEM SEA got it's own slot because of the heroics of mOOnGLaDe.

Sorry, regretfully I have to pull out, as I checked the dates of IEM NY and they clash with the WCG AU final dates. I don't want to play and possibly knock someone out who would be able to attend.

You might want to correct the "31st September" thing.

Asia is finishing 1 week before the event? Thats gonna be one hell of an expensive plane ticket, and I hope the players already have visas.
