FXOpen Invitational Series

The FXOpen Invitational Series is FXOpen's flagship online elimination tournament and consistently delivers top quality games from the best players the world has to offer. In this event we see 32 players invited to a single elimination qualifier to participate in the FXOpen Invitational Series #4 with a $5000 prizepool celebrating 6 months of FXO.

1-2 games from Ro32 and Ro16 will be cast per stream, and all Ro8 games will be cast.

North American Qualifier
Saturday, Jun 18 1:00am GMT (GMT+00:00)

The tournament will be a one-day, 32 player invitational event serving as the American qualifier for the main event. The 32 players will compete in a best-of-three single elimination competition. The top 4 will qualify and so casting will end at the Ro4. The maps will be determined by vetoe from the following:

haha something amusing, all the Protoss players announced so far were former top level wc3 player in terms of NA skill.

The qualifier is also a invitational, to quote the OP:

If you haven´t heard of it yet I guess you are not invited

Not necessarily. FXO most likely send out invites in stages. As long as the list hasn't filled up, his only option is to wait and see.

Looking at the date, I imagine the guys going to Dreamhack won't be available to participate? That'd be a shame... But, a sick lineup already.

That's right, unfortunately the DreamHack guys can't make it.
