Hm what is the reason to limit the number of participants to three non-spanish players? Considering that Spain hasn`t really superstar players (even thiough Vortix and Lucifron have potential but both are not really active) there is a huge risk that this tourney will fall under the radar like the UGC in Italy.

I would totally agree with you if this would be 'another' SC2 tournament. But this is made to improve SC2 scene in Spain, and make it grow. Thats why wei give more slots to only spanish qualifiers. Despite we want to improve spanish SC2 community, we also wanna show them there are countries with a very high level, and thats why we open an international qualifier, so some good players from the outside come here and make them hard being in the top, so this will be a challenge for them. Hope this explanation, despite it won't make you happy, will make you understand
AFAIK Lucifron and Vortix (and many others) are gonna train hard for this event

Ugh, had it been anywhere in the north I would make the effort to attend. But being in Valencia and with a limit of 3 non spanish players there is really no reason to spend that many hours in a bus. Are tehre plans for any casting/streaming both in english and spanish?

Looking at these seeds I'm especially curious about how Thorzain got first seed. He is place 174 in the all time Go4Sc2 Cup ranking, was "only" 3rd in the EPS Nordic he played and didn't attend IEM. So apparently his TSL performance influenced his seed?!

Wow, that venue looks crazy. Some really interesting architecture and I like how the water goes right up the island buildings. This event should be sick.
