English is not my first language anyway, so maybe it work in something that I dont know yet. But Id like to ask about PBU. Technically, should it not be CBU for "Currently Banned User". PBU is mean to all users banned before, but if I understand correctly, this is not what the ban is about. PBU bans are users attampting to dodge current ban terms, Is this right? So PBU seems inaccurate. | ||

But very often in the automated ban list thread I see people banned and then it says "try again in a few months", or "good luck on your next account", aren't those PBU then? | ||

Yes. If they come back, and don't post like shit, then moderation was successful. If they come back and are still terrible, PBU is an easy reason to drop the hammer. | ||
