PMs PMs are not allowed in this game unless your role allows for it. I can't find any mention of PMs in any of the role descriptions. Which roles can use PMs? Can mafia PM each other?

I don't really care how long it takes: there are 40 people in this game with no extra Mafia KP and no hatters. Ladies and gents, this is why I am not voting for Protactinium. Should he be elected, the longer he stays in office the more desperate the other assassins will get. They have incentive to kill the bodyguards. What incentive does he have to do anything to help us? We're his shield. It's in his interest to stay til the end and the longer he stays in the more likely townies will die unnecessarily. I am much more comfortable voting for someone who is useful AND pro-town like chaoser or GMarshal. The back and forth between Kavdragon and DocH is suss and I don't trust either of them enough.

You are going to direct lynches at them, yes you are not. There is pretty blatant contradiction here. More thoughts to follow.

The moment we think he's not playing "pro-town" we can lynch him. Just like how any other player would be dealt with. If a mayor was red and playing anti-town, we lynch. If it was a green who was elected and he was plying subpar and anti-town, we'd lynch. We basically treat everyone who's in a mayor position in the same way. At least he brings two KP and a check to the table. He has no real reason to go against town. There's no way he'll win the assassin game by day 2, not even close. At most he'll win late game. I say we give him pardoner, use his sexy sexy brain and KP/check powers and profit. It'd then be in the mafia's best interest to take out black so that the assassin game can end early and Prot is whisked off. That's good for town cause then they need to focus on black, not green. As I said, the longer it takes for him to win, the more likely bodyguards or randoms townies get killed by the other assassins. With this many players there are likely to be a few as well. Much higher chance of crossfire. I was actually going to vote for you lol. I'm not so sure now. Candidates so far: Kavdragon GMarshal chaoser Protactinium kitaman27 Kenpachi DoctorHelvetica I'm not sure I'm comfortable with DocH, I'm definitely not comfortable with Protactinium. For mine the two most obvious towns are kitaman and chaoser. I am leaning toward one of them. For now, ##Vote: kitaman27

Pandain: I don't know what to think about you. Apart from that I'm not voting for you. Kavdragon: All your big posts so far have read like a "Mafia for Dummies" guide. I read Ver's guide for beginners I don't think we need another one clogging up this game. What are you actually trying to say? I am not voting for you. GMarshal: has talked up his scum-hunting abilities. My brief look through his history suggests his success rate has been mixed. His policies seem to change rapidly with prevailing opinion. From a look through his past matches he has a history of being indecisive. He also has been strongly against Protactinium. But then, Protact is a rival. None of this seems out of order to me. I am however VERY interested in his FoS on Mr Wiggles. There doesn't really seem to be any reason for it, nor does there seem to much difference from some of the things he's said himself. I am not sure about you Marsh. kitaman27: Refer to his campaign speech. On April 10 2011 12:09 kitaman27 wrote: Pardoner Campaign I'm running for pardoner. Why? Well frankly, so I keep it out of the hands of everyone else. I know I'm town, so I see little reason not to run. In addition, it would cut the odds of the mafia learning the bodyguard identities in half and force them to campaign harder, rather than settling for second. My pardoning policy would be to let the lynch go as planned unless there is an undoubtedly obvious mafia bandwagon. It would not be surprising if I never chose to use the power at all. Has been more interested in the pardoner role than mayor itself. I'm not sure why you'd want to be pardoner not mayor? Mayor is ridiculously overpowered compared to pardoner. He has been aggressive against Protactinium. He has mentioned lurkers as a priority, then proceeded to call out Monsterchef. The main thing for me is that kita has done little to no backflipping, unlike many other candidates. He's contributing more. I am cautiously optimistic that he is town and is a good vote. Protactinium: Has basically said that anyone not voting for him is a suspect. There has been huge debate regarding him and the way things are going his "suspect list"is looking like it will be about three quarters of all the players. Which really narrows things down. I've already stated my disregard for voting Protactinium but I think Coag has said it best: On April 11 2011 14:28 Coagulation wrote: here I shortened your platform up for you. This is a gamble. A big one. If it comes off, yay for us, if not, we're fucked. As I have said previously, I am not voting for you. DoctorHelvetica: Has been slinging enough mud to sink a ship and tried to pass it off as honesty. I'm not sure I see the equation there? I am unsure about you. Chaoser: I am unsure if you are still in the running. I liked you as a candidate before. Since my last posts you have been slinging a lot of mud. Also, you edited a post. It may have been a mistake, but it warrants a mention. I am unsure about you. tnktd: Is easily the least experienced player of the candidates. He regularly posts before his campaign post, decided to run much later than all the others. He appears to be trying to help, his suggestions to problems look to me as stepping up. He is under attack from from Protactinium and DoctorHelvetica, who are in competition with him and I'm interested to see how he handles it. He is in my eyes being undervalued. He seems a lot cleaner than some of the others. I am optimistic that he is town and is a good vote. Kenpachi: Where are you man? Say some more stuff. Everything so far except your campaign post and your strange sheeping post has been either one or two lines, saying not much. I am not voting for you unless you step it up. Tnkted and kita are my top choices at the moment.

His first few posts didn't say much, then this: On April 10 2011 15:02 Conversion wrote: What are you even arguing here? I can't FoS someone for being an assassin? So now you're telling me that I can only FoS possible lynch targets? You can have a completely different definition of FoS in your head compared to the one I have in mine. I understand that you like spamming up threads (you even have a reputation of it), but really? What are you even pointing at here? Am I mafia for misusing FoS in your opinion? Am I mafia for FoSing and assassin, when GMarshal prodded me to speak? Yes I am new and I would rather not speak because I'd make a lot of mistakes that would lead to scum reads from the players that can't differentiate from scum and bad townie play. Stop arguing about silly things, it's getting you nowhere. If you somehow deduce that I'm scum from senseless arguments like these kudos to you for failing. He got defensive real quick. On April 10 2011 15:10 Conversion wrote: Thanks, I like to know that I am terrible. It's definitely a lose lose for me. If he flips green it doesn't clear me and if he flips red I am going to be targeted super hard. Personally I do think there's a good chance ON is green but I only say that because I know I am green. If ON is red I don't really know what motivation he would have for saying I am green when he can easily just analyze me as red and most people will agree with him. Also this is the same situation for you GMarshal. If ON flipped green I don't think it would clear you of being a red at all. Especially since you said you would be fine lynching him and if you were both reds then that seems kind of suicidal. On April 11 2011 22:13 Mig wrote: I disagree that if ON flips red it instantly confirms everyone as red. I say this once again because I know I am green. If he flips red I am probably going to be the next person lynched and then when I flip green you will be back to being uncertain about what everyone is. At the same time if he flips green it really doesn't clear anyone because like I said Gmarshal has already said hes fine lynching ON which he can easily say if hes red but I doubt he would ever say if they were both red. Finally I don't think if he flipped green it would even make you look that red. To me you don't really come off as red you just come as an overzealous green who views everything as black/white instead of realizing the situation probably isn't so clear cut. On April 11 2011 23:03 Mig wrote: Right I don't know about anyone else for sure all I said was that I know that I am green obviously and I made a guess that there's a decent chance ON is green just because if he were red I figured he would have fingered me as red. The argument "I know I'm green" doesn't really cut it. Firstly: Marsh is ok with lynching ON. That doesn't make him green if ON flips red, it could be a bus. Second: if ON was red, why would he finger you as red? I don't get your argument here.

So we're coming down on 3.5 hours until the voting booths close, and while I'm not certain on who to point a finger at or suggest to lynch, I am very sure that we have a potential danger in the election. Currently, the stats look like this: Presumably the big movement to support DrH spawned out of a suspicion of GMarshal's strong snap support that couldn't be ignored. If this still holds true, anyone still voting for GM who is either not absolutely sure he's pro-town and the best choice for mayor or (and I'm not accusing anyone specifically, because I've got no firm reads) they're mafia supporting him for whatever reason should change your vote A.S.A.P. Right now we have a pretty even split open to sniping and, if the suspicion many have about GMarshal's support is actually true, bodyguard information could still fall into mafia hands even if mafia don't make an outright grab for the mayorship. At this point I think the most likely outcomes are, in order: { (DrH, GM), (GM, DrH), (DrH, Prot) } So, if you're town and still voting for GM, I want you to be absolutely sure that you believe that voting for him and granting him access to bodyguard info or allowing the vote to be sniped so that he is mayor is the best result for town. If it's not, I urge you to switch from GM to Prot, who I believe to be black despite some fleeting suspicions. Assume and you'll make an ass out of u and me. We have a sudden rush of voting for Marsh, mostly from newbies, then we have an even more rapid switch for DocH. Why is everyone so sure DocH is town again? I'm not voting for either of them. I'm sticking with kita.
