In the KT – ACE match on the 27th at Yongsan, Action recorded a 3-kill, becoming a major contributor to his team’s victory today.
Next is his interview:
You led your team to victory with three wins.
Being sent out first put more weight on my shoulders but I’m happy that I could do a 3-kill. I do feel kind of disappointed that I couldn’t score an all-kill.
It seems like you are really disappointed because you missed an all-kill.
I didn’t actually make it a goal to do an all-kill before today’s match. But after winning three times, I wanted an all-kill. I feel more disappointed because of the fact that I made a lot of mistakes in my last game.
It seems like you’ve found your momentum.
I felt like I was back after the first win against MBC Game, who we played last time. But doing a 3-kill made me feel a lot more confident. I don’t think I’m going to slump again.
It seems like you’ve had some good fortune following you.
Coach Kang helped me figure out which builds to use and they all worked out great. I really want to thank him.
Do you think your performance has completely recovered?
When I lose my televised matches I also lose my practice games at the same time. But when I practice today, my hive teching is fine. I think that’s why I’m doing better in broadcasted games. I hope you can have higher anticipations for me in the future.
There hasn’t been a Zerg all-killer this season yet.
I don’t really have an ambition for that title. Rather, I’m thinking that if the all-killer happens to be me then it would be nice to be the first. My focus right now is getting more wins.
KT has been on a winning streak in Winner’s League. What do you think is the biggest driving force behind it?
The existence of Flash is the biggest. I am able to play my games without much pressure knowing that Flash is standing behind me.
Any last words?
Like last time, a friend from my hometown came to cheer for me. I was sent out first and there were a lot of people today so I couldn’t greet him properly. I’m really sorry for that and I want to thank him for coming out to cheer for me. And a lot of our teammates practiced a lot for today’s match but didn’t get to play today (T/N: because I, Action, am so good) so I hope they are not too disappointed and instead look forward to all the matches we will play in the future.

In the KT – ACE match on the 27th, Barracks won his game, finishing the match in his team’s victory.
Next is his interview:
Your feelings on finishing the game for your team.
It was the first time I was able to do so since I joined KT so I feel really good about it. I want to enjoy these kinds of feelings again. The score was already 3 – 1 so I’m kind of disappointed that I couldn’t play more games.
Did you expect to play today?
I was practicing with other hyungs and I think I was pretty lucky. The coach gave me the chance to play today.
Were you prepared to face Iris?
I planned to play as safely as possible in the game. After teching starport, I started to play aggressively. He was pretty aggressive too but I played the way I had planned to.
After being certain of victory, you rode the rest of the game very comfortably.
When I tried to finish the game, my opponent defended better than I thought he would. I knew that if I got cocky, he could make an upset so I played as safely as I could.
You are getting attention with your wins these days.
Now that I am getting attention I want to work harder now. I’m currently practicing to increase my skill level.
You and Action won together again.
We aren’t that close to be honest (laughs). I’m joking. After being sent out together several times recently, we’ve become pretty good friends.
If you had the chance, how many kills do you think you could have gotten today?
I think I could have done a 2-kill. I just feel like I could have. I played well today and had a good sense of the game too.
KT’s Special Forces team just won their Proleague.
I didn’t go to the match site but I cheered a lot by watching the TV. I want to congratulate them and I hope they can carry their momentum forward.
Any last words.
I want to thank my teammates who helped me practice and I want to thank Coach Hery for giving me good advice.
