I don't have any problems with blistering sands. The teams choose their player for the map ahead of time so any "imbalances" shouldn't matter. The teams pick the player who best knows how to abuse the map.

Not going to change the map pool for the season, but I might change it up a bit for the playoffs -- we'll see!

This is how I think it would go down aswell.

FnaticMSI.Fenix <Lost Temple> Liquid`Tyler I think LT is hard in PvT unless you get cross, then it's pretty balanced. FnaticMSI.Sen <Blistering Sands> LiquidTLO Obviously it matters what TLO rolls, but blistering sands is pretty non-standard in the play there and TLO is good at non-standard stuff. FnaticMSI.KawaiiRice <Scrap Station> LiquidRet Scrap Station is a good map for Terran bullshit in TvZ, but Ret is pretty good so he has a good chance to defend it. FnaticMSI.TT1 <Metalopolis> Liquid`Haypro Even if it's close positions, ZvP in close positions isn't nearly as bad as ZvT in close positions .

I'm really excited for this because Liquid is the only top team we have yet to play, so it should be a really nice barometer for where we're at. Also, the stakes are really big, if we win we have a nice shot at the playoffs, but if we lose... it'll be tough O_O~
GL tonight!!

Completely unbiased prediction in the OP I see :D
Gonna have to go with a 3-1 Liquid win. Here's to hoping TLO doesn't draw a PvZ on Blistering.

Looking forward to these epic matches. I think Fnatic has a pretty good shot.

Fnatic did win against Dignitas and they did beat Liquid. Though I think Liquid is in much better shape after some good wins from Assembly and should be on top of their game. I have to go for Liquid for tonights match!
|
Sen/Ret/Haypro and no zvz? (unless tlo randoms zerg) omg this cw is going to be very fun to watch :D
